Out of Contract Players I’d take who are realistic pre-contract opportunities: Scott Tanser (St Mirren) Scott Bain (Celtic) Bruce Anderson (Livi) Joe Shaughnessy (Dundee) Liam Gordon and Dan Phillips (St Johnstone) Greg Docherty (Hull) All are pretty known quantities and are typical Del signings I’d suggest, although noting “we’re looking abroad” comments.

Attended the business breakfast the other day and Greg McEwan (General Manager) made an interesting comment, that top six has allowed the football department to look at a different type of opportunity, in particular players playing abroad. There was mention of a Lithuanian striker. Thought that was really positive to hear.

Does anybody know if the club are holding a POTY event this year?

Replacement has to be GMS surely? We’ve treated him with kid gloves, given him time to get back to full time training and given sporadic minutes but with a full pre-season I’m expecting him to step up and replace Danny when we eventually sell him to the highest bidder.

To be honest, as a Scotland fan I’d rather Danny Armstrong than Lewis mayo. Runs at players, commits opposition, gets crosses in early, very good at dead ball situations. I’d say we need that more.

Two goals from nothing we lost. Could have been 3-0 at half time. Great effort and endeavour Killie. Deserved something but not to be.

Jesus……just realised that the ref is David Dickinson. He’s absolutely awful every time he referees us (and thats my opinion as a former ref)

Yea, I’m surprised by their lack of physicality against us. They really only have 2 “big guys” in Goldson and Souttar against our 6 “big guys” - definitely something to take advantage of even more so than usual.

Ridvan been in good form so surprised he’s on the bench. They’ve gone for movement and ball players at the top end as opposed to getting involved in a physical battle. They’ve definitely made a conscious decision to set up for us as opposed to trying to play their own game. Definitely showing us respect with that.

Just after his goal is shown he also made a really good run down the channel and drove into the box with a good ball across for Sammon which the keeper took really well too.

The amount of knicker wetters on here is embarrassing. This team give us ups and downs but more often than not they keep themselves in games. Imagine what the team could do if we stayed positive more than 25% of the time.

Jeez…..think about the journey we’ve been on and tell me how DM could have done anything more than he’s done with young players involved in our team and bench? The 18’s are doing something to be proud of this season. Let them do it. DM watches their games and speaks to their coaches. Now is not the exact time to integrate any of those boys. Review in the summer, see where they are and then see who stays, goes out on loan or gets involved in reserves or first team. We’ve got sellable assets for the first time since Clarke which is as a direct result of Richardson and Del. If we keep going we’ll hopefully do it on a regular basis but it continues to rely on ongoing very good decision making abilities, consistency of management personnel and an ability to sell the benefits of playing for Killie.
