  1. Celtic at home was the same. We bullied them too…High tempo, physicality and intensity with plenty of skill for good measure hello, hello, we are the bully boys…
  2. I would take Craig Gordon in a stookie before I’d take Kelly. Assuming Gunn is fit I’d take both the Hearts goalies as second and third choices
  3. Hope for Bradford’s sake it doesn’t go to penalties lol
  4. Agree. Thought he looked steady with a couple of very important saves. Distribution is decent and the defenders In front of him seemed to have confidence. Does he keep the jersey if Dennis is fit ?
  5. Having left it too late to get tickets sorted for our stand, I was in St Mirren end where their ultras sit and there were a few empty seats near me. Their family stand had a lot of gaps too Also a few contented looking guys like me, in black neutral attire staying back to soak in the celebrations at the final whistle….
  6. I’d go with the exact same starting line up as first two games . Watkins has helped us keep possession further up the park.
  7. Cue the jokes about an eye for a goal ..
  8. Sunday would be a good time to buck this trend - unless of course we can win in the regulation 90 minutes
  9. I agree with all of this. We all know what Doidge can and cannot do, and he is as honest as the day is long. His experience could also be a help in bringing on Cameron and Wales in training If we can recruit someone pacy with a goal scoring record to be an upgrade on Robinson that for me will define whether we have significantly improved the squad quality in the forward area or not
  10. I have a Queens Park supporting mate who reckons Mackay is going to be their new manager
  11. Clutching at straws….but If anyone has a spare ticket or anyone in their group not able to go I will be keen to buy. Been working in London all week and have left it too late. I live in Paisley
  12. Armstrong and Lafferty were probably the only people in the stadium who considered for a second that it would be Armstrong taking it
  13. Very pleased with this announcement. Hopefully we can get decent points on the board in the upcoming fixtures
  14. Could not disagree with you more. I would like to see match day FREDs on here for all the women’s team fixtures . it would be fantastic for the club if we can achieve promotion at the end of this season
  15. Utterly shameful. Kudos to Majid Haq and the other affected players for taking a public stand and to Aamer Anwar for relentlessly holding the cricketing establishment in Scotland to account. I suspect the fallout from this will affect many clubs up and down the country, but I’d also like to think that, as a consequence, the culture will improve for the next generation of young cricketers if it is clear there is zero tolerance of racism
  16. Was disappointed when I heard the draw initially…but this has quickly turned to excitement at the prospect of my favourite away trip and a winnable tie. Bring it on
  17. I must have missed that Alston won the league at Rugby Park. How is that possible ? know what you mean…. I am still on a high with the combo of joy and sheer relief
  18. I could not agree more with all of this. This has to happen soon in recognition of a great man who help drag our great club from the doldrums to becoming a competitive top flight club again. A pivotal figure in our modern history who helped us regain our self respect and re-gain the respect of our competitors
  19. Our stadium was bouncing . Atmosphere in the last 10 mins in particular and post final whistle was incredible and will live long in the memory of everyone who shared the experience It makes a huge difference on and off the park when Rugby Park is a fortress Huge credit to the manager and players for the long winning home run which ultimately got us over the line Hopefully last night will be the catalyst for really good season ticket sales. Cannot wait for next season already.
  20. Disagree. I think Jane Lewis is always well prepared and very knowledgeable
  21. My son and I live in Paisley. Of the rest of our group yesterday three are from North Ayrshire and one from Glasgow
  22. Agreed. Yesterday was the first time in a while I have felt that the passion is back (Somerset visit apart obvs) and everyone (players, management team, fans) are all pulling in the same direction. The manager has a passion that is contagious. Win our next two games with the tempo and passion shown yesterday and it could be the start of a much better period for our great club. Everyone now looks invested in getting us there
