  1. I’m not sure it’s working but I don’t think it’s fair to call AD a safety first manager. 3 goals at Tynecastle, 5 in 2 against Aberdeen, 2 against Sevco, 3 against County, 6 against Queens Park. For me it’s more that the attacking improvement he has undoubtedly overseen is totally cancelled out by the far weaker mentality in games than under AA. Both AA and AD away from home were/are a grim watch.
  2. I’m not sure this is the persuasive argument you think it is. Almost everything you credit him for, apart from getting Cosgrove, is down to having a comparatively huge budget and using it to flat track bully the smaller teams. And for what it’s worth, I wouldn’t even consider swapping Brophy for Ferguson. We did well to get him.
  3. AGM was the time for that. Board, manager and Head of Football all there.
  4. I do think performances are better than they were but clearly results are worse. What I really don’t get is shoehorning in Broadfoot. 10 conceded in 4 games since his return to the team. Won none of them.
  5. Main concerns for me are: - shoehorning in Broadfoot despite Del Fabro being much better - bottling it in several games - not turning up against bottom 6 teams
  6. Unacceptable to have lost in these circumstances.
  7. Because their fans hate it?
  8. That’s the thing, you get a player like that and you tailor your style. McInnes it’s system over everything.
  9. He really is ‘Stewarting’ McGeouch.
  10. Don’t really get KB ahead of DDF. I think we look a lot more solid when DDF plays. That said, performances under Dyer are much improved. Big game for us - and him. And Greg Kiltie for that matter.
  11. But Beth England plays for England!
  12. Exactly why this is being pushed in media imo.
  13. Let’s hit that 5000 in the home end then start panicking!
  14. We aren’t even on his radar. The Steve Clarke era is over; many far more realistic targets out there who can do us a job.
  15. Punctuation tip: fewer commas.
  16. I am fairly confident Findlay will start if fit. Wouldn’t shock me to see Brophy get game time too. O’Donnell has definitely picked up again but I think he will stick with Palmer as he looked much better in the last game than he did previously.
  17. Well he did take the Scotland job...
  18. Stu could cover all Cooper’s mistakes!
  19. Thanks...what a tale! Definitely in the lambie top 50 yarns.
  20. Didn’t even get mentioned in the BBC article lamenting Souttar and McKenna being out - and flagging Gallacher as a key option. Agree though, absolutely must start.
  21. More John Lambie information required!
