  1. What made you think I wouldn't go ? They won't put me off but they will put some people off and if it is the last game of the season some of the rats that let them use their season-tickets will do so again. We were offered £50 each for our seasons at the 2011 game and told them where to go. Twenty minutes in and we wished we had taken the money.
  2. Are you saying that isn't criticism of the pitch ? Philippe Clement hailed Rangers for not slipping up at Kilmarnock as he admitted his players "were like Bambi on ice" on Rugby Park's artificial pitch at times.
  3. TBH I don’t want a home game against them unless one of them has already won the league. Three league deciders at RP and they were all hellish experiences.
  4. In the supermarket today and there's an advert for Knorr with the two hairy bikers featured smiling away. Still, I suppose his family will benefit from the proceeds.
  5. Didn't notice anybody round about us in the East celebrating their goals. Read a few complaints on Twitter about them being in the Frank Beattie though.
  6. That's the way it is. If we make the top six we're going to face it again, probably against Celtic.
  7. All ticket sales for this match will close at 4pm on Wednesday 28th February
  8. There were too many draws but we've also had late winners against Aberdeen,Celtic,Livingston, and the David Watson goal in the draw against Celtic. We were also playing catch up at the start of the season when they were five points ahead of us. Sorry, got that wrong. After seven games they were eight points ahead of us in second place and we were eighth.
  9. Thistle goal was scored by Graham with an assist from McBeth. Wonder if that was the Scottish play ? 🙄
  10. You don't think they will anyway ? We control walk-ups as much as we can, or at least as much as the system we have in place does.
  11. I agree but I suppose the board see that as some recompense for not selling both ends. If we had a way that our walk-ups could get a reduction then I would be all for it.
  12. Financially it makes sense but when the board opted to stop selling the Moffat to away fans then what kind of mixed message is it that we are giving our own walk ups the opportunity to miss the game ?
  13. That could be expensive. 🙄
  14. Make sure you put some money aside because your Council tax is going up by 10% (Assuming you live in Argyll and Bute).
  15. They're all bloody useless. Arguing over which lifeboat is the best while the ship sinks lower and lower into the water. To clarify the above comment, it wasn't made about last night's shambles, although it could equally apply to it. I was meaning that there isn't a shred of evidence from any party that they are capable of governing either at Holyrood or at Westminster. I voted for independence, will probably vote for the SNP again but only because it is the least worst option. The prospect of the current crop of SNP politicians running our country is frightening.
  16. Is it feasible that Hearts could actually catch Celtic in second place ? Eleven points behind Celtic but have gained four points on them in the last five games. Hearts have still to play them twice and Celtic have still to play Rangers twice. Celtic's aura of invincibility from last season has gone and Rogers has lost the support of their fans. Probably unlikely that Hearts will catch them but looks like it will be much closer than Aberdeen last season who finished third thirty-five points behind Rangers.
  17. Please tell me Martindale is there. He'll be pulling his hair out, oh wait.
  18. OK but it wasn't just players that accounted for the rise in our support in the late 90's, early 00's. We had three shiny new stands and a tarted up old one, a state of the art (at that time) scoreboard and a feeling that we were going somewhere. A Sky live game at five or six on a Sunday was an event not a run of the mill noon kick-off as it is now. Most of the clubs you mention have had significant ground improvements. Easter Road, Tynecastle, the SMISA stadium. There is also the increase in season-ticket sales which commits fans to attending throughout the season.
  19. I see Souleymane Coulibaly has agreed to terminate his contract with the new owner of L'Entente De Setif. On Twitter two hours ago. 🤔
  20. Don't know about that, Cocard was rumoured to being paid from either £5,000 to £7,000 per week and we paid £340,000 for Paul Wright from St Johnstone. That was in the late 90's so as an equivalent today I can't imagine us buying a player for £700,000 or paying out a weekly wage of £10,000 to £14,000. The players you mention are all on short term deals so I don’t see us retaining all three and we don't know if GMS will be worth keeping yet.
  21. I would imagine Tuchel is just one game away from a sacking. Bochum 3 Bayern 2, terrific game, fill of incident. Maybe Mr Kane isn't going to get that guaranteed silverware after all.
  22. Hope all our ST holders turn out for this game. I would imagine they will try on a display of flares at this game. Can’t expect stewards on minimum wage to stop them but flares on a large scale could seriously damage our pitch. Stop the game, get the pitch watering system on.
