  1. An un-forecasted windfall, rather than fire it into an agents pocket or prop themselves up like the majority will, our club gives it to charities. Proud to be killie
  2. Sevco will throw everything at stopping 10, wouldn’t be surprised if that involved loaning players to other teams in the league and still covering most of the wage in the hope they can take points of Ceptic and be unavailable to face them.
  3. This is like that Motherwell thread when it was the boys agent. Don’t think that ended particularly well
  4. Saw last night his club Aves have not been paying wages so players going on strike. Karma is a bitch
  5. It’s not loans. That’s the issue for Chelsea they can’t loan out 30 odd players anymore. The thinking is they sign players for another club with preferential buying clauses for Chelsea. For me, the Billy Gilmour’s are possibly 1 in 50, but that’s not to say the other players that could come through, who don’t reach the top of the English premiership, don’t have a value. It’s potentially a very lucrative option for an SPL club.
  6. If you’re willing to buy another football club just to get round loan rules, putting down a grass pitch would seem like a fairly trivial task.
  7. Don’t see how we can view the last 2 windows as anything other than disappointing. The interview with Fowler seems to underline the club felt this too. Seemed a bit of naivety on our part particularly the way the Tshibola non transfer was described (which I suspect was the reason Wilson was allowed to go) Hoping that lessons are being learned and mistakes aren’t repeated in the summer, don’t have the option to sit back till the latter stages of the window this time round so targets will need to have been identified and brought in as early as possible in the window. Not sure I buy into the theory that we shouldn’t take free agents on now that are available but possibly not fit or not likely to feature for the first team this season either. IMO we should still look to bring them in now and get as much time as possible with the squad, money should be there for wages given reduced squad and increased budget.
  8. This. Apparently it’s absolutely fine to denounce someone based on their religious beliefs but the line is drawn at skin colour. Neither has any place in football. Amazing we now have audio of one person allegedly shouting racist abuse doing the media rounds but not of 4000+ singing about the UDA. Just wish the club had got straight in with a Sevco style statement after the match about the continual sectarian singing as it will only look like deflection on our part now.
  9. See what your saying, would love to take points of the other cheek as always but agree the other two games would seem ‘more winnable’ A changed up team would have the added benefit of fuelling the Sevco conspiracy theories, The utter meltdown from them after last night has been a delight.
  10. Can’t wait for this game, still a long way to go but it is a 6 pointer for a top 6 finish. Glad it’s Sunday too, tough opponents on a decent run and last night will have taken a lot out the team. Like to see exactly the same starting lineup but can see the temptation to rotate ahead of Aberdeen.
  11. Was pleased to see Dicker’s tweet about it, wondered how our players felt about it being wheeled out and that shows they know it’s utter pish like the rest of us.
  12. Same as Sky, away end singing away about the UDA, Bobby Sands and all the usual sectarian s**te throughout the game (or at least until the equaliser) without any mention. The SFA should’ve been utterly embarrassed when UEFA showed them how to deal with it but clearly not, Scottish football and our media coverage happy to just completely ignore it. A billion times better the bile is only spouted from one end of our ground now.
  13. It’s honestly sad just how much even a sniff of a decent signing would lighten the mood just now, What inf**kingdeed the difference a year makes, all set to buzz each other’s farts last year and now we’re bang up for a square go over when the AGM should be. I’m just going to resign myself to a couple of days of feck all then a Saturday morning googling a loanee from Sc**thorpe’s 3rd team, anything else is a bonus. Pls prove me wrong Killie
  14. A club shop is supposed to be part of the “matchday experience” nowadays. I suppose stoating in to an undermanned decrepit portakabin, being served without any sense of urgency, no sign of any leadership, no understanding of the offering and utterly s**te products not fit for purpose is entirely in keeping with our matchday experience right now.
  15. Nah you’re absolutely right. We didn’t have enough threads covering this already.

Regardless of the result today or hearts situation in general I feel the club needed a similar shake up in the summer and we are now seeing the consequences of that. We’ve sat back and believed our own hype, from the players to the board. CQN should’ve been the wake up but it hasn’t been. The fact the players quite fancied it on Wednesday on the telly and didn’t on Saturday stinks of them being far too assured in their positions. People get treated like s**te everyday in their work and still turn up, Can’t believe if a tanker driver for BB special projects had a moan about the manager or the route he’d been put on would’ve immediately been believed and the manager sacked. don’t see why the players should be any different.

Perhaps. But he has been far from complimentary about the players from day one, critical of the whole structure of the club and is still in dispute with Barnsley. A dodgy appointment. He’s had one good year and one bad one in management and that’s about it. As for the wedding, it’s true that it’s not directly relevant. But context is important. The context here is that, out of the blue, he’s put his captain in the reserves ^^^^^^^^^ This was what you said. Got to be honest a manger coming in and criticising the structure of our club would be a breath of fresh air right about now. As potentially would sticking our captain in the reserves. Still hope you were right and it’s a flash in the pan. Hate spending a Sunday wanting the OF and Aberdeen to win.

And my point is you do nothing being the players pal

I go back to the exchange we had the other week when I said a resurgent hearts is the last thing we needed and Stendel was right to clear out who he wanted and didn’t. Allowing and backing the manager to chose his own staff and players, no matter who it pisses off, is key to a successful appointment. We were weak in not backing AA or he was weak in not demanding it. Either way this is what happens.
  20. Agreed, lack of action from the bench was baffling. We did hear from Dyer though and it sounded a hell of a lot like “don’t ask me I’ve no idea, ask them”
  21. Blame for yesterday lies solely with the players, I don’t really give a f**k what the board, CJ or the SLO have got to say about it, doubt any of them were in the dressing room at HT and can explain wtf happened in the 2nd half. I’d rather hear some honesty from the Captain.
  22. Funny how the media were lining up to give an opinion on how pish AA was and the dressing room was unhappy and it was terrible appointment. f**k all from parks and co about Dyer and continued slump or a piece questioning if the players were in the wrong. All seemingly satisfied the threats passed we are back scrapping where we belong.
  23. Board can’t even be arsed enough to give Dyer the “vote of confidence” unlikely to get rid unless the players tell Bowie to. Fans keep turning up doing their bit, supporting the team and being treated with complete indifference. It’s the wasted opportunity that’s the hardest to take and the lack of any fight to do things differently. f**k all ambition being shown, from the pitch, the recruitment, the marketing, the retail and to the board.
  24. I’m struggling to think of any assistant manager to caretaker to Manager appointments that have gone well over an extended period of time. It felt like the board s**t it and took the easy option at the time and feels even more like that now. IMO Dyer (as much as I like him) should’ve gone in the summer. If he thought this was a long term job and really wanted it he’d have been in for it in the summer. When he did get it he should have walked away from the Scotland job. I get we only gave 6 months but feels like a total lack of ambition from him. He’s not a manager and I don’t think he wants to be, his run is now as bad as AA so if that’s the precedent he should go.
  25. I see Gary Holt has confirmed Livi have made a pre contract offer to Alan Forrest at Ayr. Would like to think we’d be having a look too.
