  1. I’d agree, apart from the fact that Wotherspoon can influence games and results. For me, Mckenzies nowhere near good enough. Always great effort from him. Quality’s rarely there tho.
  2. Should also never be forgotten as one of the heroes of that fairytale season that got us into Europe in the first place. The mans put some shifts on for us over the last few seasons!!
  3. Perhaps not due to the situation we find ourselves in right now. A relegation battle. I personally think we need someone with some personality and desire, someone who’s animated on the touch line to drive the players on when times are tough on the pitch. Someone who k owe what it really means to us, the fans.
  4. Kenny Shields, currently the manager of the Irish women’s national team. Surely be worth a call?
  5. Yes. Not as the gaffer tho mate. It appears that we’re not going to agree on this one and I’m not gona go tit for tat all day on it. Only time will tell if he is or isn’t the right man for the job bud.
  6. He’d had a pre season to get his point across. What I’m saying is that AD then took over a group that were probably unhappy, on a poor run and hes revitalised us as a team. Poor defending in the last two games has cost us dearly.
  7. I’d personally disregard the first few games as he needs time to implement what it is that he wants the players to do. We were in free fall when he took over, with individual mistakes and last night defeat apart, aren’t we looking a helluva lot better than we were before ?
  8. Personally, I would stick with Dyer. The improvement from not so long ago is clear to see. Yes he made mistakes last night by not making the subs at the correct time of the game in my opinion. These are mistakes that he’ll learn from tho as it’s his his first stint at being the manager. Of course last night is still raw and exceptionally difficult to take, but I don’t think bringing in a new gaffer with another new set of ideas, which the players might not buy into is the answer.
  9. If we don’t give that foul away, we win 1-0. I’m not on the slightest blaming El Mak for this. We’ve got to defend the free kick after it’s given. What I’m saying is that he should’ve been subbed a long while before that as he’d gave everything. We then see the game out.
  10. Aye. I agree mate. But everyone could see how knackered he was. He’s no played much football recently and gave all he had. I understand too that our bench isn’t the strongest but fresh legs, I personally thought would’ve made a difference. Thought big Findlay was outstanding until he gave away the pen!
  11. If El Makarinis taken off when everyone can see that he’s clearly blowing out of his arse, he doesn’t give a lazy tired stupid foul away and we see the game out 1-0. We get back in it and then f**king throw it away. Absolutely gutted.
  12. Ideal pal. Thanks for that. That’s another three tickets sold!
  13. Few lads from my work heading for a pint or two then over to the game tonight that don’t normally attend. A good thing about the ticket huts being open right up until kick off, otherwise these boys wouldn’t make it as they don’t already have tickets. Weather dependant (no incoming storms) I’m looking at 5500 to 6000 there tonight to roar the boys to victory. Need everyone behind them tonight and as the 12th man. C’mon the Killie.
  14. All good strikers are greedy bams tho!! After watching him try to make a couple of passes on Sunday, I reckon he’d be best just sticking to having a pop at goal. Defo agree with you tho, the lack of efforts from outside the box is something that will have to be addressed or even worked on, on the training ground ?
