Since 1969 (see below image) ............... the only real constant in my life ... have been the up's and down's of following the Killie !

My first impression was that you were reflecting on the 1/4 final at Cappielow

    Morton 2 Kilmarnock 5,

all seven goals being scored by Killie legends.

  2. Has no one else noticed that Dundee are a bloody good team. That’s three and a half games we’ve had with them this season and every one has been highly competitive.

We can do this though. Come on the Killie.

Need to agree to disagree on the first part. Second part...👍

I tend to hate the Huns slightly more. Probably because I grew up in the 50/60s when Killie were competing head to head with the Huns and Celtic were not really in contention.

will be difficult game... we will be deflated after our 100% effort loss.  whilst Dundee got spanked thinks its easier to get over that kind off result.. as it will be put down to one of these things

A convoluted way to take a negative view.

We are playing better and better so I say let’s back the lads all the way and roar them into a top six place and on to Europe.

Similar feel starting to build around this squad, similar to Clarke era. Just not at the same levels, Clarke’s teams had an inevitability about them you knew we were taking points out of every game we played more or less. This one still has a bad performance/ result in it. Given another season building on this success don’t see why they can’t get pretty close to those levels

Which bad performance do you have in mind. Only lost to Sevco in three months.

    I have a solution.

We build a moat behind the goals at the away end and Billy Bowie gets his tankers to fill it full of s**te.

    That should deter them

Probably not d that’s their natural habitat.

This table seems to be based on Rangers having played two matches yesterday - a 5-3 win at home to Hamilton and a goalless draw away to St Mirren.

The Hamilton match definitely took place but I’ll see what I can find out about the St Mirren game.

Since that table was made up Rangers have lost 4-2 to Dundee Utd and beaten QP 2-1. So 9 points behind with same games played.

Aberdeen beat Hamilton 5-1 so 12 points behind but with 3 games in hand

Let's get behind the lads on Tuesday night when they play their last pre-split fixture at home to Hibs. 7:30 pm kick-off I believe.

I think it’s about time Innes starts

Deasey back in, of course if Lyons is fit then he needs to play as well for the Cameron connection. Even if he’s still moderately injured I’d still start him.
Armstrong has been off it and usually only likes to show off when playing rangers so I’d start GMS

Both spoke in hospitality after the match. Great ambassadors for the club.

Robbie is back in training, wearing a mask, but Brad won’t be back much before the split.

At the time I thought Marley "was looking for it" (and no penalty), however clearly he has his eyes on the ball and the defender seems to have "played threw him"!

    So a penalty then?

    WatkinsPenaltyClaim.gif

More of a foul than the one that Cory got sent off for as it was from behind rather than at right angles.

We pretty much agreed on this at half time. CB’s had a lot of the ball due to our tactics. I was not keen on it and when we pressed higher we got way better. Almost was like get them into a pattern of possession then not let that pattern happen. Their subs made them worse we got a boost (think better would be wrong).

At no point were Celtic good no matter what Harrison said. Pretty much agree with our managers analysis. We needed more possession but they were not hurting us any more than we hurt them. We probably deserved a win come the end.

much Like last game but much improved first half and not quite as good second half. For me a clear penalty, defender played the ball but came through Watkins? to get it.

Is that exactly what Corry got sent off for!

Just wondering when Dels contract runs to. Although at times he can be frustrating surely people can admit we are onto a good thing with him.

I think he enjoys it here so I'd like to think we are looking at tying him down even further.

As well as that we've got to be thinking about extending key players. Watkins is a must. Not sure if we have just enough money to afford Van Veen and Stewart for 4 months or if these guys are realistic for next year.

We must guard against what happened with Stevd Clarke leaving and what followed after.

    End of 25/26 season.
