I'm curious about the situation with Slater at the moment. It appears he is not a favourite of the new manager? At a time when the team desperately needs goals I think he should be in the team. I agree with previous posts that he can be a frustrating player, in particular when he is caught in possession in central midfield. However he is a young player with great potential and has scored some important goals for us this season. Some Don's mates were asking me about him recently. It seems they are showing an interest in him for next season. For me we need to get him tied up on a new deal regardless of which division we will be in next season.
