  1. Living up in shee p land and being of the over 70 age I don’t get to many games so today was a test for me and my eldest grandsons first Killie game in his Christmas Top ! My opinion of the game is that Aberdeen aided and abetted by so shocking refereeing allowed us to be dragged down to their level, someone in our team neede to get about Shinnie from the get go, our Captain should have been on his shoulder every time he was chirping at the ref ! My disappointment was that to achieve our league position has been gained by playing good football on the ground, that is something we failed to do for most of the 90 mins today and that really disappointed me. I loved being in the Killie support - what a treat, travelling in numbers when the easy option was to sit at home and watch on tv so well done to all those who travelled and sang their hearts out - I joined in with my grandson but maybe not as loud as I used to ! O onwards and upwards Killie and their great fans ! my grandson asked a question of me - Grabdad - why don’t Aberdeen fans don’t sing πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚!!! I told him because they ain’t Killie Fans !! Safe travel home to you all ! Disappointed but defiant !!!
  2. Nice three points today followed by our first away win at Greyskull coming up KTID πŸ‘πŸ‘πŸ‘πŸ‘πŸ‘πŸ‘πŸ‘
  3. 1959 Pittodrie, my Father was a Dons fan ( we are Aberdonians) I just loved that team in Blue and White and ever since then !!!!
  4. To be honest I would be disappointed to lose Burke but would understand his reasons. Good progress being made on signings so far but I really really want to see some action on the goalkeeping front.
  5. What a man ! every quality in a human being, had the pleasure to spend time chatting with him on many occasions. I had the privilege to see him play and his guile had to be seen to be believed ! RIP Mr Sneddon you will never be forgotten.
  6. I was invited as part of corporate that day, the atmosphere was positively toxic, started with Neil Cooper ex Shagger running about like a demented donkey and that set the stage fir 90 mins of thuggery which was shocking to watch. As an aside Durrant was the best player I have seen in the stripes without doubt.
  7. Love this guy, strong, committed and the perfect foil for Brophy, only a few games in has for me been the catalyst for Brophy returning to goal scoring front.
  8. Love that picture of the Manager - onwards and upwards Killie !!!!
  9. Great to see Killie being so well thought of on a European Away game ! welcome back any time and statements like β€œ the fans were brilliant” - I am so proud to be a Killie Fan and well done to all those who travelled !!!!
  10. I firmly believe that IF Sir Steve goes he and Billy Bowie will have had very serious conversations regarding the future and as before will reach their best solution going forward. I also think the the owner has learned a helluva lot with Clarke, sees the response from the fans and the town and will make a decision that works ( always difficult in football I know) the other important thing is that we are now a European Club for next season, many good managers will be interested in building on Steve’s legacy and that works in our favour. These are heady times for the club and its supporters and we have to accept that IF he leaves we leave the McCoist/ Locke/ usual suspects behind us - We Are Better Than That - because - WE ARE KILLIE !
  11. Belgium, Luxembourg, that way I can introduce my Flemish Grandsons to The Mighty Ayrshire Killie !!!
  12. That you are indeed and I would know being your travel mate :):):)
  13. Wonder how Jones and Stewart are going to feel when we are in the Champions League ??? !!!!
  14. Sir Steve on the radio - the pitch was not conducive the good football !!!! :):):):):):)
  15. I also meant to say safe trip home !!!!
  16. Amazing support today !! Kind of a home game for me my son and good pal but total respect to all those that travelled the miles - loyal, noisy, funny and totally passionate!! Well done all - coming down for the replay !!!!
  17. Got a stream for the second half, thought we were the better side, couple of slack passes maybe. But - two things - safe journey home to the travelling fans - you do the club proud ! Well done !!!
  18. Fergies mate McCrae is the biggest waste of space by a long way - time for a total revamp !
  19. Sad for him, leaving Killie was a bad idea but money talks and he is probably quite well off financially. The Cup Final will always make him a Killie Legend !
  20. I smell a rat here !!! Sorry for all the travelling fans ! Must be investigated !
  21. I think a bigger danger could be Aberdeen! Personally think they have struggled with a lack of pace since Johnny Hayes left and JJ would fit the bill quite nicely.
  22. Fantastic win, game plan, structure, attitude and great support from the fans - well done to everyone at the club, have a happy and peaceful time !! i have not felt this good since Tommy’s days !
  23. Thought they were outstanding ! Dens the other week and today, well done to you all, amazing what happens when the Board show a real commitment to the fans and we get a good manager !
  24. Sure as eggs are eggs his radio and newspaper buddies will start touting him about as a great coach who has taken on clubs with no chance of success and working with impossible odds ! Did I hear correctly that that clown " Biscuits" sister is now a match reporter on Open All Mikes ? - I rest my case. "
  25. That's me in now, keep up the good work !
