  1. Before today I was leaning towards AD. I sit not far from the dugout and in my 60 + years as a Killie fan I have never seen a less inspiring effort from any Killie manager. AD stood with his hands on his hips staring at the pitch like a man in a trance with no connection with the players. Even when we went 1 down his attitude did not change and it was only when Donati came out and spoke to him that a sub. was considered. Sow was asked to warm up and did so for many minutes with nothing happening. Donati went out and spoke to AD again and Millar was called out and eventually brought on. DT was also only brought on after Donati had another word. We need a manager with enthusiasm and the ability to see what changes are needed and act upon them. On today's performannce AD does not seem to be that man
  2. Some of the names mentioned and those interviewed may not be interested to work under a Director of Football.
  3. I strongly believe that if AD gets good results or even improved performances over the next 3 games he WILL be our new manager. We now have James Fowler in place as "Head of Football Operations" who will be doing many of the routine, mundane tasks as well as overseeing prospective new signings and setting out the future plans for the club to ensure continuity if a manager leaves. This would AD to continue as 1st team coach/manager a role which according to Mulumbu he is great at.
  4. If their is a problem, look into it, if it is serious deal with it. Only the board know the whole story, so well done to them for not allowing things to drag out.
  5. Lets see what happens after the signing season is past. 2 real strikers will make an enormous difference. Listening to reports yesterday the Wolf had opportunities but none of his shots were on target. Unfortunately this is a recurring theme.
  6. AA has often said that he prefers to play 2 up front. Unfortunately due to being unable to sign another striker for what ever reason pre season and subsequent injuries to Sow and Cameron and Jackson lacking fitness he has been unable to do so. Today might just be the day with the following team. Bran Sod Bruce Del Fab Ham Burke Dicker Power McKenzie Sow Wolf
  7. Millar shows promise as an impact sub. He has not shown anything like that form when starting.
  8. If Fow brings as much to the club as Paul Di Jacomo we are in for good times ahead.
  9. midfield were to blame for both goals, both scored from outside the box. Dicker heading ball direct to scorer, and for second mid field backing off and not putting in a tackle.
  10. Hendrie stated on STV last night that he would be happy to play at CH if required. I have felt for a long time that the wolf would be more than capable of playing the Greg Start role with someone else up front. Playing Millar up front would frighten the Centre halfs with his pace.
  11. Having just watched the video of the goals it appears that we are continuing to sign small lightweight players, once again they looked unable to cope with the physical side of the game.
  12. I sit at the very front of the FB and Sod was continually breaking forward and was becoming frustrated as he had no one to pass too. Highlights on Sportscene also showed him breaking forward in the first have and putting 2 lovely through balls for Makrimi, he also reached the byline on a few occassions and put lovely low cross balls into the goal mouth but we had no one sharp enough too get on the ball. Our midfielders are solid but need to get the ball forward quicker and not give the opposing defences time to reorganise.
  13. Thank goodness SOD and Stuart were not playing or the press would no doubt have been slating them.
  14. Our problem in recent games has been passing the ball to much back and front along the 18 yard line without the mid field committing the defence to make any tackles.
  15. Watching Brophy over recent games I think he could play the stewart role with sow up front
  16. Scott wright at Aberdeen out for season damaging cruciate ON grass
  17. If the boys Allessio signed who have still to get a chance are as good as the 5 who started yesterday we will be well set for the season. Ham, Fab, Mo and Liam were probably our best players, not forgetting Bran's to great saves.
  18. I was gutted at going out of Europe so early. However was it a blessing in disguise,? Yesterdays 12-00 o'clock football programme was highlighting how Burnley struggled in the league last season while fitting in Europa games with a limited squad, and how Wolves were similarly struggling this season..
  19. What odds on Sow scoring more goals than Brophy, excluding penalties during his contract. We could look on it as a 4 month trial period and if successful sign him on a pre-contract

  21. Ex Chelsea 6ft 2in striker now now playing in Italy and a current Scotland under 21 linked to sign today.
  22. AA sure seems to know a player Man of the match for the last 2 games were new signings making their debut. Here's hoping the new striker to come does the same. Upward and onward.
  23. Celtic signed Swiss international LB on loan from Stoke. GT is going nowhere
  24. Lennon has stated he wants the 2/3 new signings done Mon/Tues. as he wants them to travel to Europe with the team to help them integrate.
