  1. Saints getting away with a lot at the back here. Vass is off pace today compared to last few games
  2. his name should never be uttered here. We were 1-0 up, but we were absolutely dreadful, as was the weather. Just the worst day
  3. Worst day as a Killie fan ever for me. Travelled to the game with some pals from Bute. They had a local playing for them, Jim McAlister, so there was a lot of folk at it. Brutal Ferry trip home
  4. I expect to see Rory in pictures of our 65 league win. He has been with us for so long, what a servant.
  5. Potentially, but ultimately DM picks the team, and he has knowingly been picking a guy who he knows needs an operation. That's on him, and as I said before, there's no excuse in 2024 to do it, especially with the other options we have at the club. Just 3 weeks ago people were demanding he be dropped. Now we are defending him being played while injured
  6. those people are all in hiding now. It's the folk who think Vass is our Harry Kane who are about.
  7. you're not wrong, he only got going a fortnight ago!
  8. What is KVV doing wrong that means he can't get a game ahead of a guy who needs an op? In 2024, there is no excuse for this scenario
  9. We were spoiled by Bachmann. every keeper we have had since seem to be compared with him, because our expectations are very, very high when it comes to goalkeepers just now. Dennis is a good goalkeeper who will have a good career at a higher level than us.
  10. We can all agree that the only reason this is being debated is because the OF have scapegoated plastic pitches and blamed them when diddies like killie give them a bloody nose. There is no reason to ban them, none. 'Tradition' isn't a reason
  11. I can believe players said no because of the plastic pitch. I also think if you pressed them as to why they had a problem, they wouldn't be able to explain it to you.
  12. There's research it causes slightly more injuries in American football. Nothing to suggest in causes any more or less in football
  13. He's not immune from criticism, and he has rightly been getting some. I don't think it would be quite as fierce if we didn't have a guy sitting on the bench who scored for fun in the same league last season
  14. Is this actually true or something people just say?
  15. I've had pals send me the content and saying how cheesy but brilliant it is. Lochlin is doing a great job. Glad the club are allowing him some freedom too
  16. Done us a turn signing that contract, guarantees us a good fee. Likely breaking Naismith's record.
  17. Going to see Killie was the one thing me and my dad really had together. Parents split when I was young, and we moved to Bute. When I was at my dad's and there was a home game, we'd go. I never actually saw Killie lose for a long while after starting to go with him. I appreciate the forum as it gives me some camaraderie with other Killie fans as none of my pals growing up supported us. Envy folk here who have gone to games on the buses, met lifelong mates. I think that would be really special.
  18. That was the whole point of bringing the plastic in. The whole conversation has been hijacked by 'traditionalists' who argue the game needs to be played on grass. Them and the media using it when we skelp the old firm at RP. I really don't feel strongly about having a plastic pitch, but it has made sense as I can't recall many instances where weather has lead to a game being postponed.
