  1. This is exactly what I was thinking during the game last night.
  2. Spot on....... imho, if TW doesn't have a plan B tactically and persists with the same starting 11 as last night, Dundee will get promoted on monday.....as many have said, the tie should have been over last night but amazingly we're still in it.....
  3. First statement of intent I'll be looking for is the list of players no longer at the club next tuesday, no matter what division we find ourselves in...... imho this will have a major part to play in season ticket uptake numbers for 2021/22.
  4. Agree with most of your post..... my point is simple, imho, the way to maximise fan participation in TiK and Trust membership is to dangle the carrot of eventual fan ownership through them..... if that is not an option then I can't ever see us competing with the take up at the previously mentioned clubs. As it stands, it feels like the board are carrying out a box ticking exercise by giving us a fans rep on the board, in exchange for a regular supply of funds from subscribers...... BUT with no path to ever having a real say in the clubs future. Just my opinion, and many of you will disagree, but I just can't see us ever competing with the 'fan owned' clubs and their supporters funding without a change in our clubs present business model.
  5. We can't compare ourselves to Motherwell, St. Mirren, Hearts and Morton....... they are fan owned or soon will be (fans being majority shareholders)...... to my knowledge, a similar outcome has never been discussed/possible at Killie.
  6. Nearly every team I've watched us play this season have had promising youngsters playing for them.......if our club don't try and replicate this asap, imho, we're only going to continue down the slippery slope we're on at present ?
  7. Seems like Motherwell, Hearts and St. Mirren are, or soon will be, owned by fans (through majority shareholdings)........ who knows how Killie fans would respond if a similar proposal was put to us.
  8. Agree 100%....... more focus on bringing youth through HAS to be made a priority at a club of our size..... only way forward imho.
  9. .............." The aspiration is to play good football, have young players come through into first team "........... If this is genuinely the boards view then, surely, they have no other option but to relieve the current coaching staff of their duties asap.
  10. Been feeling this way for a while..... don't mind watching my team getting beat if they are trying to be entertaining and playing to a system BUT watching my team getting beaten, whilst playing negative, clueless football is s**te ?
  11. https://www.smisa.net/ Just wondering if this statement is the main reason that the buddies have had a far bigger response than us: " We are set to become St Mirren's majority owners in summer 2021 " Could this ever be a possibility at Killie under the current framework? If it was possible, imho, the Trust membership would surely grow far larger than at present.
  12. Would love to see our new manager, whoever they are, giving youth a chance.... got Brindley and Taylor on the bench today, both have got as much chance of winning the euro millions as they have of getting game time. In an idea world would have Kenny Shiels running the youth setup and a senior management team that were keen to give youngsters a chance.
  13. Now that AD has stated a points target over the next 4 games, if/when wwe don't achieve it the board have 2 act imho.
  14. Dyer sets Kilmarnock points target Kilmarnock v Livingston (Boxing Day) Kilmarnock manager Alex Dyer has set his side a points target from their next four games, after a 2-0 defeat to Dundee United on Wednesday was their seventh in eight league games. They host Livingston on Friday, then travel to Motherwell, before more home games with St Mirren and Hamilton Academical. "It [Livignston] is a big game," Dyer told BBC Scotland. "We know we need to win the game. We'll do the best we can, its as simple as that. "It's an important part of the season, we know that, we've got to try and get maximum points. At least six or seven points out of 12, that would give our season a nice little lift. We know if we don't win enough games we're going to be in a relegation fight."
  15. But this is a step to far from the Livvy boss: Martindale said: "I wouldn't be taking Kilmarnock lightly, they've got very good players in their squad. "I think Alex Dyer has done very well there and there's not a lot changed since Steve Clarke was the manager. I think they're a quality opposition." ?

    He has to go

Having watched the AD post match interview....... seems he is now just waiting to be relieved of his duties, but will continue regardless unless this happens...... talks a lot about trust (and the usual working hard) in the interview...... my question would be : Do we trust the board to make the correct decisions regarding the clubs future?
  17. Find it hard to believe that any of us expect the results we got under SSC........ that boat has long since sailed and, at present, anything other than a defeat comes as a welcome surprise to most of us.
  18. Giving AD the next 6 league games would, probably, be the most sensible route to take ( transfer window shut, so squad finalised and played everybody once, so league position a fairer reflection of 'where we are')........ I feel certain that the board will afford him this but, if things continue as per, could it then be to late to save our season?
  19. Watching Utd v Celtic the now, from what I've seen so far imho we will lose to them next week
  20. Sorry troops...... it was working for first 5 mins then just audio
  21. Poor game today between, imo, two bottom six teams. Very little creativity from either side but thought, prior to the red card, we were going to grind out a win.......going to be a long season
  22. Just wondering (apologies if this has already been asked/answered)....... when you renew your season ticket via the email sent to a desktop, what do you receive as proof of purchase and would get you entry to games?......In the past have renewed 2off adult tickets,in person, and got 2off plastic cards that get scanned to gain entry (obviously not an option at present).....havny got a smart phone either that, I presume, gets scanned at the gate.....Cheers.
  23. ....... if we wanted to secure top 6 football....... present squad and management team are not good enough to achieve this imho.
