SSC wasny interested in our youth system and nothing seems to have changed since he left....... a club like us have to rely on a decent youth system if we are being run correctly...... you can not sustain a 'european place challenge' long term without it being central to your plans imho.

IMO you are partially right, in that the season is over regarding looking above us in the league table...... however our present squad could quite easily be involved at the wrong end of the table soon...... important not to forget this and try to ensure or place in the top flight come the end of the season.

Imho , in many of our games this season, we have created few goal scoring opportunities for our lone striker...... so don't think our lack of goals is SOLELY down to the quality of our attacking options.

Agree with this 100%.......... most of our home games this season (apart from huns, hibs and hearts) imho our visitors have played better football than us, but we've managed to grind out positive results on most occasions.

We killed off the game in 8 mins that day and then, under very little pressure, we looked great...... when teams put the high press on us and at 0-0, we struggle imho and seem to be clueless as how to change things.

Imho will take far longer than 1 transfer window to sort things out..... JF will not even have a structure in place by the close of the next window...... hopefully the club and supporters realise that this is likely to be a long term project and not a quick fix.

Was hoping our on the deck passing game from last week was going to become the norm..... guess we're back to our usual this season...... hopefully we can get back to last weeks form in the 2nd half.

Probably the most important position at the club going forward......... wishing James all the very best in his new role and, like every other supporter, hoping he makes a success of it

Will all depend on what defence we manage to field......important to try and keep a clean sheet as we have the 2nd worst goals for in the league at present.

Just watched on sportscene...... the motherwell player touches the ball NOT Bruce, so it's defo a foul...... michael stewart says the ref got it right BUT canny understand how (as from the angle he saw it, it looked like Bruce got the ball 1st).

Imho the big positive yesterday was we mainly played the ball on the deck (as did Ross County), far better to watch than the 'play it across the back and then lump it up' that we've been watching previously this season........ seems to be a lack of confidence with the majority of our players when it comes to taking responsibility in front of goal though......decent football on show by both teams but still a frustrating watch.

Imho only the 2nd halves against huns and hibs(league games) have been entertaining so far this season at RP.

Agree 100%........... a bit worried about all the training time being devoted to 'shape' at the moment, I've still to work out what our 'shape' actually is and we're nearly into October.......you could easily see what our shape/system was last season but, try as I might, I've no idea this season (apart from play the ball across the back a couple of times and then launch it to our lone striker surrounded by giant centre halves).

This....... atm we have lost 2 permanent signings today and our last 2 signings are straight replacements BUT on loan.
