Same old mantra BUT seemingly EVEN harder to sign a striker(than in previous press conferences)..... "a lot of conversations being had but very, really hard at the moment" regarding signing a striker before window closes, when asked if in conversations now with potential signings......

Just watched AA interview on Killie TV (pre St. Johnstone)...... wouldny like to be hanging by the 'you no whats' waiting on signings....... will be very surprised if we sign playmaker/striker options before end of window now

Feel the same way (and so do many others that I listen to during/after games at the moment)........ hopefully a wee bit of quality added in the next few days will make all the difference and give everybody a lift

IMHO if we take the 'soldier on until January' option then we are f**ked........ will be amazed if we manage to get a couple of quality signings over the line though.

Listened 2 sportsound after the game and thought they were right in many respects....... 1 thing they forgot 2 mention was, bad as Killie are just now, Aberdeen are total s**te.

2 poor teams, 1 real chance created during the game by Dickers through ball and missed by Burke......... worst Aberdeen team I've seen in a long time and there for the taking....... sadly Killie at present are just not good enough to capitalize against such a poor team.......... long season ahead for us

Yesterday was brutal to watch...... only positive, we scraped through to the next round...... I , much as I want to be proved wrong, no longer believe that the 2 or 3 quality signings we are screaming out for are going to happen before Sept 2nd...... imho there is something seriously wrong at our club..... the atmospheres generated and us all getting behind the team are rapidly turning to apathy in the stands....... apart from that everything is rosy in the garden

Will be glad when the window slams shut on sept 2nd............... we get, seems like, the weekly announcement about hoping to make signings and then.... tumble weeds..... once the squad is finalised, only then will we see what the future holds.

We will see, after September 2nd, how AAs squad gets on this season........ trying not to read to much into the 'goings on' at present and the europa qualifiers/huns game are gone....... think the Hamilton double header will tell us where we're at, hopefully a positive outcome

Agree totally............ just be glad to get the season underway and, I'm sure, after a few games we will all know where we stand going fwd........ hopefully it will be positive but imho I think many of us have our doubts.

Minimum comms from club, poor displays in Europa qualifiers, minimal transfer movement (2 date) and no friendlies to look forward 2.......... creates a perfect storm for the doom and gloom rumours at the moment......... imho we will all know b4 the Scottish transfer window shuts wither there's any truth in it .
