It’s known by some as the dead zone as - although most crosses come from this area - the percentage of goals scored from “high and wide/outside the penalty area” is very low when compared to other areas of the attacking third. I don’t think we should have went for it. We were in the ascendancy, much the better team and if the game had gone to extra time, I’d have fancied us to win it. Whether or not McInnes put that message on to the pitch in the final stages is irrelevant, there are 11 grown men, most are seasoned professionals, who should take responsibility and make the right decisions. On a side note, I think we’re a much better side than last season and I’m sure things will click. We’re creating lots of chances, we’ll get the rub of the green hopefully we can put a run together.

Why would you do that, change personnel, invite pressure and then ask them to try and win the and in extra time? For me he’s right. 11 professional footballers. They should be able to see a game out. Conceding late is a mentality thing, not the Manager’s tactics.

Here’s a question… why are the away fans always placed in the top half of the stand? Is it just to keep them out of the elements? Obviously filling the bottom half would give more of an impression of a fuller ground.

I’d be very, very surprised if James Forrest was even remotely interested in a move to Kilmarnock, never mind signed on loan. I’d be delighted if it happened, but I’d say the chances are slim to zero.

If the player doesn’t want to leave, he won’t leave.
