  1. 6 weeks ago he wasn't good enough.
  2. Amazing how quickly opinions change.
  3. I understand this. I don’t agree with season ticket holders having to pay an extra twenty odd pounds to watch that particular game. But of course we’ll pay the money and go to the game. Football is the only industry in the world where working class people pump money in and ask no questions.
  4. I know it’s another game, one from which the club will make money. Profiting from failure at the cost of the supporters.
  5. Madness isn’t it. Buy a season ticket for 18 home games, watch muck all season, and your reward is getting charged £20+ more to watch the result of our failure.
  6. He should be away at the end of the season regardless. The football we play is horrible, and the results are worse. if there’s no sign of anything improving. you can’t keep doing the same things and expect different results
  7. It was as clear a red card as yoI’ll see, so how does that justify our point? An even more red card challenge? Agreed, people can’t see past their own team. The standard of refereeing is poor, but it’s across the board, not in favour of, or against one particular team.
  8. I actually agree with you, during his time here, he never really contributed much.
  9. The Hibs one was soft, if that goes against you, you’re raging.
  10. I can’t believe you’ve had so many down votes for this 😂 you’re spot on.
  11. Heard tonight we’ve signed two on pre-contracts, one was from Partick. Pretty sure it was the guy you mentioned.
  12. You kidding? They played football, both teams looked dangerous and most of all, they each had a fight I’ve rarely seen in us this season. I dread the play-offs. Hopefully it doesn’t come to that, I wouldn’t fancy playing any of the three Championship sides.
  13. Third kits are another example of greed in football. Borussia Dortmund take the piss on that front... 3 goalkeeper kits, Home, Away and Cup kit and a “special” kit this year. Home, Away, Third and Cup kits last season, with different variations of each throughout the season. 5 goalkeeper kits as well! Home, Away, Third, FOURTH and Cup kits the season before 🤯 So much for the anti-commercialism German football model.
  14. I tend not to shout at players, say they don’t care, call them pish etc. In fact, when I’m in the stadium, I try and stay away from those who do. Very hard at Rugby Park tho, where everybody is an ex-pro with a vast knowledge of the game.
  15. It doesn’t put the Inverness performance into perspective. Every single player was below par and we took a well deserved beating in a Scottish cup quarter final. The semi will be hard to watch, the inal even harder.
  16. You’re pretty spot on with your second point, they certainly didn’t know much about football.
  17. I was sat almost right behind thought at the time it was an unbelievable save, and the highlights on YouTube certainly don’t do it justice. It’s not right at him, the keeper lifts his arm to stop the ball. It was a reflex save, top drawer.
  18. I don’t know if I was in a particularly bad bit of the stand, but the killie fans around me yesterday were unbelievable. 2-0 up away from home, first away win of the season and they hammered players from start to finish. We’ve the weirdest group of fans…
  19. Not everybody attends home games.
  20. The cost of watching professional football in Scotland is remarkable.
  21. 90% of this forum want Vassell replaced with Bobby Wales 😂
  22. We could end up with 20 games away and 18 at home, and we could all moan about how unfair the SPFL has been to us, completely ignoring the fact that we are the worst footballing team in the division, and haven’t won away from home all season, taking only two points in fact. Hopefully it doesn’t come to that, but I worry about our ability to win games post split.
  23. No 15 year old should be signing any sort of contract in any walk of life. They’re kids.
  24. “However, leading academy figures believe it may not be too long before 14 year-olds are allowed to sign paid contracts in line with employment law that lets kids do “light” work from 13 and above in Scotland. There is already a working group discussing the plan comprised of Scottish government, the Scottish FA and leading football figures, who are hoping to have it signed off soon as it would provide clubs with two years of protection before their 16th birthday.“ as per The Athletic’s article on Rangers losing a youth team player to Villa.
