  1. Wait until you pair tackle the quadruple strength! Girlfriend likes her juice far stronger than I do and the absolute maniac used the same quantity of quadruple as she would double!! My weekend will be spent doing the necessary background checks as she's clearly dodgy. On a separate note - juice added to water or water added to juice?
  2. Tenement Trail by any chance? Gutted to be missing it!
  3. It's probably quite right that animal abusers have their activities recorded to be fair.
  4. Got a good feline about this one. Definitely got the hang of these posts...
  5. As soon as I'd typed my response I realised I'd forgotten Vox. Great shop, particularly if you're looking to build/replace your back catalogue as mentioned. Glad you had a successful journey. Two strong purchases also.
  6. Edinburgh has a good few stores as I'm sure you will have been recommended. My top three would be Assai - beside the Usher Hall, Good Vibes - down the Shore area in Leith and Thorne Records - up the Morningside area. Not close to one another so may be one or the other depending on where you are in the city. If you do venture into Assai it's worth getting yourself set up on their system as purchases accumulate points. Given they have stores in Dundee and, more recently, Glasgow you can order online or buy in store and the points quickly rack up. Enjoy your day.
  7. I've got a fairly basic setup - I rent so couldn't handle the thought of something beautifully expensive getting damaged in a move. My player is a lenco - reliable if unspectacular - but the speakers I have are a great little set at a very decent price. JVC XS-D629BM 2.0 Bluetooth Bookshelf Speakers I will add the caveat that the speakers have fluctuated both up and down in price over the last 18/24 months and, given they're now a few years old, there are probably better units available. On the collection front - I wish someone had told me not to bother! 😂 I attend a lot of live music and the vinyl collection was a replacement for those funds burning a hope in my pocket during lockdown. I didn't think about the long game and the financial ruin that now financing both costs me! A recommendation is the Rough Trade album of the month subscription. Rolling contract of £30 per month (its only just gone up from an unbelieveable £20) for the record delivered to your door at no extra cost. I've discovered some great new stuff from it that might have passed me by otherwise. You can exchange them if you're really not feeling it. I've only had to do this twice in about four years. Record shops... StripJoint in Glasgow is currently having a sale of 20% on all stock and Paul that runs it is cracking. Always super helpful and responsive. Happy to recommend other shops I've used across the UK if it's of any interest further down the line. Just had a very productive day at Europa in Stirling.
  8. To single him out after that first half when, arguably, his determination to win the ball for the goal was the only example of any fight or desire shown is a little strange.
  9. They're the ones on the pitch Allan. 👍🏻
  10. That's pretty much bang on and we've had first hand experience of it at Killie. Andy Smith was a cracking forward for us and also delivered an Oscar worthy performance in 'A Shot at Glory' Heard he's rubbish at giving lectures though
  11. There's so much of this @Beaker71that rings true. I'm assuming neither of us have had a decision of this particular nature to make in our lives and so, from experience of close friends and relatives, I presume Craig - and others in his position - do it to give others the confidence to follow suit. It seems from those commenting on this thread that we have a very considerate, understanding and accepting fanbase. I don't doubt that for a second. I suppose all we can do is support Craig in his decision to go public and if we hear anything from fellow fans at games that doesn't support the accepting and welcoming attitudes on here then we call it out where fit to do so.
  12. Genuinely love the thought of us being able to show both our class as a fanbase and our appreciation of him for the season just gone when we play them in the Kevin McAllister (now unofficially known as the Stevie McGinn appreciation testimonial) friendly. Love when these wee quirks are thrown up in football and all the very best to him at his new club.
  13. I think it's the unpredictability that elevated the likes of Lekovic at the time and sees him looked back on fondly also. Certainly was, and is, for me. No doubting the ability but it was always the potential for him take an unnecessary risk and the anticipation of whether or not he'd get away with it. Got the heart going and a wee chuckle and smile when it worked out fine. Sissoko and his mazy runs is another that springs to mind.
  14. Fair enough buddy as I'd actually forgotten about the standing section somehow. Definitely don't advocate having different plans for different games/opposition. I was more touting a move of ends permanently and not just when Rangers or Celtic were in town. More room for home fans given very few opposition teams - even in the top league - come close to filling it. Point taken though. ?
  15. If we could work out logistics for them getting in and out without too much bother, I'd put them in the Moffat and open the Chadwick up to the home fans.
  16. Cheers @skygod ? I'd actually forgotten there was any other football happening anywhere at all after last night.
  17. Don't know if I've missed it on here but sure I read a few weeks back that McGeough has been told he can go also. Injury worries of late but if you get him back to his Hibs form he'd be worth a gamble. If he was to get injured the comedy value of the various spellings of his name alone would deem it a worthwhile investment.
  18. Aye thank god for the recent introduction of that rule change. It's alright not to post sometimes if what you're contemplating posting is absolute drivel! We won a derby match away from home last night which has put us top of the league and, in the time since, you've moaned about Rory being voted for man of the match and now moaning that a rule in place for about thirty years or so has us in the position we are. Just as well someone invented days of the week so we can tell you to take one off!
  19. This is where my thoughts are as well. Jack Ross on a contract to the end of the season surely suits both parties well and provides both the opportunity to reassess in the summer. He rebuilds the slight blip on his cv that the Hibs sacking is and is a relatively safe pair of hands for us in our promotion push. I think there is enough in this squad to show the consistency needed in the second half of the season to claw back the gap to top and, as others have said, a good manager gets the necessary results from them. Interesting to see comments about the unity in the team. Players such as Boyle and Stevenson at Hibs having publicly questioned the decision of their board would suggest Ross has some ability to get the players on board with his thinking. Not the most spectacular, left field appointment by any stretch but I think it would be a good opportunity for both parties and see what conversations can be had about where we are in the summer.
  20. I'm all for some post match positivity but you should really consider dialling it down a bit! Don't want your posts coming across as ridiculous now do we?
  21. Couldn't remember if I'd made that up. A very quick glance at their figures during that time. Andy Smith 15 appearances 2 goals. Shefki Kuqi 68 appearances 30 goals. Not our finest hour.
  22. Have I got events wrong or did we also not pass on Shefki Kuqi and then opt for Andy Smith not long after?
