  2. I'll be honest, I had a great laugh with Jimmy Clark! He was more than happy to take a lighthearted stroll through his playing and coaching career. We talked about the contract dispute which led to his move to the club he supported, injury woes, the strengths of 1980s Killie, as well as the celebrated management team of Williamson, Clark and McCabe. As always, you can listen for free on the Killie Histories website, or wherever you get you podcasts.
  3. I'm doing some Killie themed t-shirts (like the band name ones) with players from classic matches. The Killie Trust are trying to get cash together to send our youth teams to a tournament in Northern Ireland so money from these tees will go towards that. I'll also be doing some other Killie themed designs soon and the Trust will be getting a percentage of every one of them sold as well. Please note that this is not a Killie Trust initiative, so they are not responsible for anything deemed a wee bit cheeky! There's just the one classic match squad tee active at the moment but more will follow in the next few days...I will do requests as well if there is any particular match squad you'd like that we've not featured, just let me know and I'll get it done and on the website for you. I'd appreciate if you'd share the link to the website with other Killie fans. Cheers. https://nightdesign.uk/products/killie-squad-1997

The Killie Trust is a significant shareholder in the Football Club and the Trust Board of Directors feel that it is vital to consider every possible option to help the Club in these uncertain times. Later this evening we will be contacting our members to consider the Trust also offering to bring forward the scheduled handover of £40,000 of ‘Trust In Killie’ funds. 19. Steve Clarke, Davie Sneddon and Cathy Jamieson unveil the ‘Trust In Killie’ initiative History Board which heralds the beginning of TIK Phase Two…
  20. They said it would never work, they said it was a flash in the pan, they were wrong. With well over £200,000 raised for Kilmarnock Football Club, countless initiatives which have benefited the community and now with a fully fledged director on the Club Board…the Killie Trust and its members can look back on the last 15 years as a resounding success. Thanks to everyone who bought into the idea, literally and figuratively. This is Your Club and Your Time and with your continued support the next fifteen years will hopefully bring more of the same.
  21. With the end of TIK Phase One nearing conclusion and Phase Two about to launch the Killie Trust have started the process of getting the History Board they promised in place. The design is in place and they have a good quote from Killie fan Gordon Duff's Centurion on a really excellent quality signage, it just needs the Club to agree on a location now. For the Trust there is really only one option, the blank wall outside the Park Suite. It is constantly in view and between two stands and you can also see it from the Hotel....everyone can access it at any time, day or night...and they don't want it stuck away on a stair well somewhere or inside the stadium where only a few can see it. There is a lot of signage in and around that area and it does look a wee bit cluttered, which is of concern to the club, but the Trust still feels that the History Board adds a wee bit of class and don't see that as a real problem. Spot lights are also an option being considered, but that could be done later, maybe throw in some lighting for the Wall of Fame as well. As it stands there has been no decision made, but if the Board see that the fans are behind the idea then, as we've seen recently, they will probably respond in a positive manner and make it happen. So...what do you think?
