The box-to-box creative midfielder joins on a loan deal from Liverpool until the end of the season, pending clearance. Balagizi, a 20-year-old academy product is a highly-rated starlet at the Anfield club. He’s had ties with their academy since the age of six, before a short stint at Manchester City. He then signed with Liverpool aged 10 and has been with the Merseyside club ever since. Balagizi is capped with England all the way through from Under 16’s to Under 20’s and he’s had loan spells with Crawley Town and Wigan Athletic. Speaking to the official website, Balagizi said: “I’m really excited to get the deal done, I am happy with the project at the club and excited to get things going. “The manager did well at convincing me to come, hearing the plan that he’s got. “The team is building something really exciting for the fans and for the club itself, so to come here and hopefully add to that is part of my plan.” He continued: “Fans can expect an exciting player, I work hard on and off the ball and always look to make things happen. “Creativity is my main thing, I play box-to-box and aim to get fans off their seats.” https://kilmarnockfc.co.uk/news/james-balagizi-signs-loan-deal-from-liverpool/

Everyone at the club would like to wish Andy a warm welcome to Rugby Park.
  7. Donnelly re-signing. Don't get that one at all. Mediocre at best, fannys about all summer holding out for a better offer, doesn't get one and we then go cap in hand days before the season starts. I know folk will say i'm having a go at the manager but this stuff is mind boggling. We are going to have the same midfield as last year and wonder why we create f**k all.
  8. Signed a loan deal from Cardiff, suppose that ends any slight chance there ever was of Chambers coming back. Not played much senior football by the looks of it but here’s hoping he takes to it no problem.

  13. Deserves his own thread. 1st in the door Left sided CB which we have none of at the moment. Thought he played really well on Saturday in the cup final and liked the look of him anytime I’ve seen him
  14. Great news. Really been impressed with what I have seen of David this season. Excellent the club have been able to extend his deal. An exciting young player and one for the future and can't wait to see him develop at Killie.
  15. Signing on loan for the season from Hibs. Christian Doidge poised to sign for Premiership rivals Kilmarnock as Hibs set to sanction season-long loan move KILMARNOCK are poised to sign Christian Doidge on a season-long loan deal. Derek McInnes has turned to the Hibs striker in a bid to bolster his attack. The Killie boss has been desperately trying to recruit a striker all summer. And now he appears to have completed his business just 24 hours before the transfer window closes. Doidge has fallen down the pecking order at Easter Road this season with all but one of his Premiership appearances coming from the bench. The 30-year old missed a huge chunk of last term through injury but scored 13 times for Hibs in the previous campaign.
