  1. Kilmarnock lead the hunt for ex-St Mirren and Ross County midfielder Graham Carey. The Irish winger is returning to Scotland after three seasons with Bulgarians CSKA Sofia. And Derek McInnes is hoping to add the 33-year-old to bolster Killie’s first season back in the Premiership. However the Irishman — who spent four seasons in Scotland at Paisley and Dingwall before moving south to spend four years at Plymouth in 2015 — has other options in Scotland. Carey played 106 games and scored 11 goals for CSKA and reached the cup final in each of his three seasons there, winning last season’s trophy against Arda.
  2. Kilmarnock could offer striker Tomi Adeloye a chance to remain in Ayrshire after the Englishman left Ayr United. Derek McInnes is understood to be interested in the 6ft 1in frontman who struck 14 goals in the Championship last season for the Honest Men. But Killie would face stiff competition for the free agent with Paul Hartley’s Hartlepool and Carlisle United also very keen on snapping up the 26-year-old former Barnet goal-grabber. Adeloye, who won player of the year at Somerset Park, had a major role in maintaining Ayr’s status in the Championship with 14 goals from 38 games making him fourth top scorer in the SPFL’s second tier. His powerful style could help take the strain off Kyle Lafferty and add to the Rugby Park options with Oli Shaw, Scott Robinson and Innes Cameron also vying for places in McInnes’ frontline. Adeloye came through the ranks at Charlton but has spent the majority of his career in the non-league ranks down south with Hartlepool, Dagenham and Redbridge and Ebbsfleet. Now he might have the chance to showcase his talents in the top tier of Scottish football
  3. Stephen Kelly's future at Rangers is up in the air ahead of a decisive summer. The 22-year-old will enter the final year of his contract with the Ibrox club. But Kelly admits that he's not spoken to Gers chief about their plans for him. The Scotland under-21 international made a sprinkling of appearances under Steven Gerrard but he wasn't afforded a real chance last season. Kelly impressed on-loan at Salford City during the second half of the campaign in League Two. With 12 months remaining on his contract, Kelly is unlikely to be loaned out again unless Rangers extend his deal. Kilmarnock Derek McInnes is a known admirer of the talented midfielder Killie wanted to bring Kelly to Rugby Park in January before he moved to England. McInnes could reignite his interest to help bolster his squad ahead of their Premiership return. The Ayrshire club could offer Kelly regular football and the chance to establish himself in the top-flight. Dundee United Another club linked with a move for Kelly last January, the Terrors could look to sign Kelly on a permanent deal. It would represent a good fit for the midfielder's skillset with Tam Courts keen to implement a more possession based style of play. United are keen to sign Dylan Levitt from Manchester United after the Welshman dazzled on-loan last season. But with a host of clubs interested in the 21-year-old, Kelly offers a high quality alternative. Hibernian The pathway from Ibrox to Easter Road has been well-trodden in recent years. Glenn Middleton, Jamie Murphy and Greg Docherty have moved - on loan or permanently - to Hibs. While a rivalry exists, Hibs could offer Kelly a brilliant stage to show just how good he is. Hibs would need to stump up a fee for the Scotland under-21 star but he'd compete for a starting place in Lee Johnson's team. Salford City Kelly excelled at the English League Two side last season. Salford will keep tabs on the midfielder's situation ahead of a possible transfer bid. Co-owned by a group of Manchester Untied legends, including Paul Scholes and Gary Neville, finances won't be a problem for Salford. But Kelly could have his sets sight on playing at a higher level. Fleetwood Town Scott Brown is actively exploring the Scottish market to unearth bargain deals. The Celtic legend has already secured the services of Shaun Rooney on a free from St Johnstone. Gets star Kelly has already demonstrated his ability to play in League Two so Fleetwood would represent a step up.
  4. Tonight should finish any argument about whether we should or should not try and get Kyle Lafferty back
  5. Feel as though the potential signing of Jason Naismith has slipped under the radar somewhat, thanks to interference from a ginormous lead balloon called Colin Doyle. Naismith is one to be positive about, no?
  6. After his performance today the club are considering a move. For the free agent.
  7. The Record reporting ourselves, Livi and County looking at the Welshman
  8. Been linked with him in Herald. Kilmarnock are plotting a move for right-back Ari Olsen to replace Stephen O'Donnell. Scotland cap O'Donnell departed Rugby Park at the end of his contract after spending three years there as a player and Killie are now in the hunt for his replacement. Olsen, of Víkingur Göta in his native Faroe Islands, fits the bill as an attacking full-back with a physical presence and an impressive long throw in his arsenal. Olsen, 21, has also represented Faroes at under-21s level as well as under-19s and 17s. He is out of contract at the end of the upcoming season and Herald and Times Sportunderstands he would be available for free due to a clause in his contract. Olsen can also double as a central defender. He previously spent time on trial at Wolves in the English Premier League and is wanted by clubs around the country. It is believed Hamilton and St Mirren have also tracked the defender.
  9. KILMARNOCK could make a swoop for ex-Rangers striker Kyle Lafferty. Free agent Lafferty is looking for a new club after being axed by Ibrox boss Steven Gerrard. The Northern Ireland international issued a come-and-get-me plea to former club Hearts, although Craig Levein has distanced himself from a move. But the 31-year-old could be offered a chance to stay in Scotland by Angelo Alessio - if the money is right. The Kille boss said: “The club is working every day to get new players in. “But we have got to be realistic. Lafferty and some players earn a lot of money.” https://www.thescottishsun.co.uk/sport/football/4609223/kyle-lafferty-rangers-kilmarnock-transfer-news/?utm_medium=Social&utm_source=Twitter#Echobox=1565904699
  10. Taking him from Hibs on loan would be absolute stupidity imo. Finished 13 points below us, can't get a game for them, and we've to develop him for them? Really hope we stand back from this and let St Johnstone take him.
  11. Celtic outcast Jack Hendry is being eyed by Motherwell and Kilmarnock as he looks to end his Hoops frustration. The Premiership pair have expressed an interest in the centre-back who has not made a single appearance under Neil Lennon. Hendry is surplus to requirements at the champions but had the potential chance to move to Hull Cityearlier this month. But Celtic stalled on the offer and then went back asking for more money. By that time, though, the Tigers had already moved on to another target. With the English window now closed, the 24-year-old’s options are now limited. The problem for Celtic is that if he moves to a Premiership rival such as Motherwell or Killie then Celtic would have to subsidise the majority of the player’s wages There could also be the possibility of a move to Europe, where most of their transfer windows are open for the rest of this month. A possible escape route is to German where there is initial interest but Hendry is waiting to see if that is firmed up. Brendan Rodgers signed Hendry from Dundee in January last year. The central defender made an instant impression and was a Celtic and Scotland regular but in the second half of last season he dropped out of both fronts. https://www.dailyrecord.co.uk/sport/football/football-transfer-news/jack-hendry-transfer-fight-celtic-18972539 If we got the Dundee type Jack Hendry, then good. Although his confidence seems to be at rock bottom now so not so sure.
  12. On trial with Killie apparently. Centre half. Having signed Alex Bruce wonder if Alessio doesnt fancy KB. Wonder if he is the guy seen at the hotel who is the big unit!!
  13. Rumour doing the rounds that we are in for him in January. Don't shoot the messenger but had the same rumour off two different folk in past hour, both of whom don't know each other. Probably s**te but who knows.
  14. Reported on BBC that we're in talks to re-sign him from Dundee United. Assuming that means MacDonald is away and no chance of getting Woodman back.
  15. Alan Power, a midfielder for Lincoln City, is who i've heard has signed
  16. This rumour has grew arms and legs hahaha i'd be happy if we got him tbh, maybe he was 1 of the 3 who had to be let go by there parent club first. https://www.thescottishsun.co.uk/sport/football/1342342/lee-erwin-kilmarnock-rugby-park-leeds/amp/
  17. Hearing from a contact at Hamilton that we are going to be signing striker Eamonn Brophy who is out of contract. His words exact were "should score goals off Boydie". No confirmation of this one way or the other as yet.
  18. Talk that it's us or Partick for Miles Storey on loan
  19. Killie are on the verge of signing Antonio Murray from Brisbane City. Ex Ipswich and Hibs. That's all I know.
  20. Being let go by Leeds. Always felt he was out his depth there. Not my cup of tea but I'd be interested to see other views. Rumours about his off field antics. But maybe he has matured a bit and is willing to get his head down and work hard.
