Who have we lost since the end of the season?

MacDonald
Branescu (Loan)
Koprivec
O'Donnell
del Fabro (Loan)
Johnson (Loan)
Hamalainen (Loan)
Hendrie
Wilson
Frizzell
Thomas
St Clair (Loan)
Bunn

Numerous Reserves and Youths, including
Mackay
Barr
McLevy
Barlow
Lynch
Monk
McDonald

That's twenty for starters and, so far, only two in.

Even allowing for the economic situation, it would be worrying if the club is unable to bring in, either permanently or on loan, another five or six players.

This was supposed to be a close season where it was an employers' market with a glut of players out of contract and easy to negotiate with.

If the financial position is that bad, then the board should maybe acknowledge it, if only to stimulate season ticket sales.

i really that that the days of players really caring if their employer makes a profit when selling them are long gone....

I don't think many players ever did.

A few might have acknowledged that they owed their first club a tangible token in gratitude but players have to look out for themselves, as do clubs.

Heard we've applied to the courts to change a law, so we can play backy in. Surely you need 3 keepers on your books to cover all eventualities ? We dont even have one !!!

The attacking midfield role hasn't been addressed since we lost Stewart, seems to have  been forgotten by most how badly we struggled to create much or break teams down.

Center of defence looks very weak , fullback on either side would be handy. Apart from all those , we look dandy

Devlin McKay and Harry Broun are still with the club.

Last season we seen Dyer prefer 2 up top, if he sticks with this then we wouldn’t have need for an AM.

Although a good few of them didn’t play that’s still technically a reduction of 13 players in the first team squad with only 2 signed so far.
Could really do with 2 keepers, left back and a centre half as a bare minimum and with a creative attacker and a striker if we can find them.

Kilmarnock got Rossi of centre back and Left full back Haunstrap to new signings soon

So if we go 2 up we dont need a creative type to back them up ? Pinpoint a player in the entire squad with guile or intelligence to thread a pass ?? Just go with honest hard workers???

Chris Burke? Greg Kiltie? Probably Pinnock?

If we go 4-4-2 then we will almost certainly go with 2 fighters in the middle.
