They even called it "Super Saturday"!:(

I think this was coined by the media because of the reopening of pubs, restaurants, hotels, museums and galleries, amusement parks,  hairdressers etc.

It wasn't all about drink.

Kings Arms in Fenwick open. New management and new chef, and the food is excellent.

Saw their setup online and looks like they've put a lot of work in to make it work for them. The guy running it used to be at the Three Craws in Irvine and did a superb job bring it back to life, but left it after "a breakdown in support from the landlord".

Will deffo be giving them some custom.

Aye Gareth was gutted to give it up but the landlord was taking the piss. He’s also got Bakers so been a tough time for him. Him and Mikey will make a right good go of the Kings.

A boozer in Motherwell has been accused of having the worst beer garden in the country after a makeshift outdoor area was trolled online.

Punters took to Twitter to show tables and chairs flung together out the back of the Brass Button pub in the north of the town.
The popular boozer is well-known for its delicious cocktails which are still doing a roaring trade as takeaway drinks during lockdown but the area behind the pub has seen better days.

An area of what looks like a car park has been roped off with chains close to a wheelie bin with a few chairs and tables scattered around.

Sharing a picture on social media, Craig Campbell said: "Nice beer garden in Motherwell if anyone fancies a pint."
However, locals jumped to the defence of their much-loved boozer which is at the heart of the community.
