Scouser2
In Group E with Dunfermline , Clyde, Dumbarton and Falkirk Edited August 10, 2020 by Scouser2
PrestersKtid
Fairly tough group, unsure how dunfermline will be without nesbitt but thomas will be wanting to prove a point i'm sure. Still be expecting us to go through though.

BigYin
Thats definitely not the easiest draw we could have had. At least we’ll have a good number of games under our belts by that point so should be right up to speed compared to the lower league teams
Wrangodog
Prefer St. Mirren's group. Morton, QOS, Partick, Queen's Park. -

killie89
Not a great draw - tough and a bit boring. We seem to constantly get drawn against Dumbarton and Clyde in this competition, plus we’ve played Dunfermline and Falkirk loads over the years. Still, as long as we make it through I’ll be happy
Scouser2
Will depend on who we get for the 2 away games in terms of any chance of a live PPV stream option given the minimal chances of any Away fans allowed even if restrictions were lifted by then for a limited home support In pre covid normal times a visit back to Dunfermline would be something different to look forward to , and would taken a decent support there

Seems was only a “north and south” sections this time around and not any other regionalisation done , which found strange given lack of finance around for most clubs

At least we’ll have a good number of games under our belts by that point so should be right up to speed compared to the lower league teams This is key for me too. We'll have had a maximum of 10 league fixtures by the point this competition starts - everyone else will be starting their seasons with 2/3 fixtures in this group, with two of them PT. On paper, and in normal circumstances, they could each potentially be a banana skin (although Clyde perhaps only because of the Goodwillie factor), but with the extent to which we'd be better prepared than everyone else in this particular season, I'd be really disappointed if we weren't to go through quite comfortably.
Thebigguy68
Very competitive group. Think is good rather than playing weaker teams. We will be up to speed. If we don’t win the group we have nobody else to blame.
maxyboy
It'll be a good wee competitive group, will be decent games to give young and fringe players are go at trying to break into the first team and they're all decent teams so its a good gauge I'd say
Fankle
We'll be potentially missing Findlay for some of these games on Scotland duty. Not sure if Tish will have a game with Congo then?

Cass316
Haven't played Dunfermline since 2012. Quite looking forward to that.
Squirrelhumper
Least we've not got a top flight team. Not arsed about the draw being boring, not as if any of us will be at the games!
