After seeing him for a half dozen games my view is that: he will never make it at our level - has no shot and limited in the air. His main plus point is that he can hold the ball up and has some useful passes, however, this is not enough. He seems a decent guy and it is not his fault that we signed him. As long as he gives 100% we can't blame or boo him. His signing, more of our recent signings and those of at least six of the other Premiership clubs are indicative of the present state of our finances in Scottish football. Dreadful to think that English non-league footballers are our level of signings! That is ridiculous. He was great before the lockdown. One bad game and folk are getting their knickers in a twist, grow up honestly.

PrestersKtid
Big man has been great since he’s come in. Puts himself about, holds the ball up well when played into feet, links up well with other players. he wasn’t at his best against hibs but I fancy if he gets a goal early in the campaign he’ll kick on again.

He contributed absolutely nothing, didn't win a single header, never controlled the ball or was able to bring other players into the game. Boydie would have been better after a year in retirement! For me the most concerning aspect was that the manager watched this performance and kept him on for the full match. This aged well. Big man was amazing today.
Killieboykfc
Probably the best lone striker performance I’ve seen from a killie player in a long time

Skora11
Big man was absolutely excellent today. Some of his touches were different class. Can see him and Brophy forming a fantastic partnership together this season.

BigYin
What a performance by the big man, night and day from last weekend. He absolutely bossed Jullien and Ajer today

piffer
Outstanding today. Bullied the two CBs all game. Not all about goal scoring as a striker and that was a great effort today
Pride_of_ayrshire
So as you were saying Kabamba would nev.... Kabamba bosses it in this league
chubbs
Was a great performance today but the two CBs today are more cultured, ball playing defenders than the two thugs he was up against last weekend. He ran Jullien and Ajer ragged all game .. if only he was a bit quicker he could have been through 1on1 with the keeper a couple of times.

On 8/2/2020 at 10:58 AM, Bezza1985 said: Aye, Kabamba is obviously at his best as part of a 2 up front. He’s not a lone striker and harsh to judge him on that alone. No idea why Brophy didn’t start - looked like Dyer was playing for a draw. Ouch.

That’s true but maybe the game today will help Kabamba to be more aggressive as that’s what he will face in most games. His work rate was also superb today.
angus
Great performance by the big man ! Just hope he can keep that standard against the so called lesser teams. Two goals in Dingwall please.

kilMARKnock
That must be the most quotes I've greenied in a row ever, big man turned an 8 million (???) pound player into a haddy, superb big man and long may it continue!!!
EKX16
Kabamba had Jullien in his back pocket from start to finish. One of the best performances from a Killie player and a well deserved MOM.
