Thebigguy68
Just a minor distraction from the game against county. Griffiths an undoubted talent struggling with his demons and likely coming to end of Celtic career. Brophy in the last year of his deal with us but with a decent end to last season and good reputation among a old firm supporters ( and let’s be honest it’s games against THEM 2 that Get you a move and brophy best against them). They need a striker as back-up if Griffith’s moving out. Would you gamble on this mess getting back on song versus a guy who is unlikely to extend his contract with us? May seem unlikely but who will take a chance on griffiths? And will brophy be a big player for us this season? -

Ngonge88
I would to be honest. Griffiths is the best striker in Scotland when he is on it. Brophy is a good striker, but not even close to Griffiths
Jimmy Superscot
If Steve Clarke was still our manager I would say bring him in, but not so sure with Dyer.
Killieboykfc
It will never happen but I would take Griffiths over Brophy in a heartbeat.
KillieDIV
Griffiths would be right up there with Eremenko as one of the best players we've had in the past 20 years. Would be an absolute no brainer. -
chubbs
Griffiths is a much more clinical and better all round player BUT is his head in the game these days? If he could regain his form or appetite for the game that he had a couple of seasons ago then I think it's a no-brainer ... it's a huge IF though.

red_dug
Brophy is the only quick player we have. No from me.
DG5
No. Griffithis is a good player but he is carrying to much baggage in his head at the moment.

Issue after issue.
Shortie
as much as I dislike the fella Griffiths is a talent but think he could cause more problems than we need... shame he could of went very far in the game..

Scouser2
On paper Griffiths is the better striker But If Griffiths can’t get his head sorted and toe the line at Celtic with all the resources they have......and time they have spent helping him with various issues over the years....you would be worried how things could snowball if got a permanent move elsewhere , Though a loan deal would be ok Edited August 12, 2020 by Scouser2
killieblues
Would surely be hypothetical, as Griffiths would have far too high a wage demand. Great player on his day but, as @Squirrelhumper says, has issue after issue. Hopefully the Wolf will bite our hands off when we offer him a good deal. A very passionate player, and gives his all every game.
AyrshireCocard
Brophy is nowhere near Leigh Griffiths level.

KillieFanInToon
From the thread title, I thought this was gonna be about which one folk fancied more. Brophy for me. Griffiths' lack of chin is a bit of a turn off.
Charlie's Dad
Griffiths is on way too much money for us. Added to that unfortunately for him he's a complete bomb scare. Involved in way too many off the field problems and would set a bad example to the younger players at the club.
Killiepies
Griffiths is another Riordan /O'Conner in the making
TheShark
No, Brophy is by far the more reliable option
killie billies pal
I think we’re losing Brophy to someone! Just doesn’t look like he was in the plans when signings were made , Pinnock, Whitehall especially
