We all need to move on from this guy. Tremendous talent, great memories from him in the team but he ain’t coming back.
Is Charlie Adam not looking for a job?

Lol...

Kilmarnock could open the door for Youssouf Mulumbu to return to Rugby Park for a third stint.

The 33-year-old has already spoken to boss Alex Dyer and made it clear that he would be keen to return to Scotland.

The Congo international had two previous spells with Killie.

Steve Clarke took him from Norwich City and his impressive performances won him a move to Celtic, where he was sent back to the Ayrshire side on loan.

Mulumbu hasn’t played since he left Parkhead in the summer of 2019 but is keen to get his career back on track after the COVID-19 lockdown.

It is believed that Dyer, who was Clarke’s No. 2, could give him training facilities in the first instance to help him build up his fitness.

Dutch midfielder Mohamed El Makrini is considering a move away from Rugby Park.

The 33-year-old has a couple of overseas options and has returned to Holland to consider his options.

El Makrini was signed for former Kilmarnock Angelo Alessio but hasn’t featured as much under Dyer.

Anyone who says they wouldn’t take Mulumbu is mental. He would improve our team massively and created so many chances for our strikers. Yes he’s had chances before to return but we cannot turn our hand to player of Mulumbus quality. That being said we would very surprised if he comes back

The jizzfest is reignited.

Mulumbu chucking a Twitter carrot and alot of our blinkered fans lapping it up.

We should not be shelling out big money for this guy. He made it clear he doesn't want to come back but his options appear limited so guess what? Kilmarnock is his favourite former employer.

This is Dyer and Fowler trying to get the fans back on board.

MOVE ON!

Agree, great whilst it lasted but he's a year older and has hardly trained never mind played.

Use the money more wisely.

You say that as if it's a bad thing.........are all signings not designed to get the fans on board?

If we could tie up Mulumbu on a years deal at a fair market price then we would be mental to pass up the opportunity.

Mulumbu is great but I can't really buy this. Our best player so far this season has been Tish, the closest position to what Mulumbu does. Dicker is essential at the moment to protect the back 4, the Hibs match showed why. You couldn't drop Power, though he will soon be suspended.

To me the logic is get Del Fab back (or Devlin if that rumour has any legs) drop Broadfoot, play Dicker against the big teams when we need extra cover and go more attacking against diddies like St Johnstone.

If it's true then we are definitely changing to midfield 3, next point is who drops out to make way for him?

I would sacrifice Dicker but he is captain, our vice captain seems to be Broadfoot so realistically both can't be dropped. Seems to be fix the midfield but leave the defence shaky.

imo moving to a 3 in midifeld changes the dynamics of the whole side.  We have potentially then 2 extra bodies coming into the MF when we don't have the ball  and both in wide positions.  This potentially blocks the avenue around our defense and allows is to protect the middle too.

Our defendinf abilities are therefore enhanced without changing the defense as such.

Imo dixker drops out for me.  I'd use the Galkirk game to try Dikamona and even the guy from Bournemouth.

A tweet about a return to playing football , followed soon after by a leaked story in the press about an initial talk with AD.......does lead to possible question about his latest agent trying to gain interest and other options...

IF there is genuine interest then it needs to be finalised one way or another quickly ...given length of time he has been away from football, Fitness and match sharpness issues along with possible quarantine regulations .....

If he wants to sign and within our budget we would be crazy to turn him down.

He would be easily our best player in the squad if signed.
