Thebigguy68
They will sell him to Leeds for double what they signed him for a season ago, and reinvest the money. We can do that. Shankland obviously one we missed. Sell, Buy. Sell, buy. Hate them but they beginning to sound like a club that know how to trade. -

Hes nowhere near good enough to play in that league.
Nobody
It’s only Slippy’s word for it that Leeds put a bid in. I’d not trust him an inch and I think Leeds have just sniffed about.. If Leeds put a concrete offer on the table then they will sell IMO - they have to. Maybe that silly boy JJ has a future after all.
LH31
Any transfer would go straight into Liverpools pocket for the original fee I'd imagine.

Shankland would have cost a fee and we can’t/won’t do the “Buy” part of the formula. You would have thought that making a big profit on Coulibaly after half a season would have encouraged the club to be a bit more imaginative in their recruitment but we have largely pursued a policy of signing loaned players, until this season, and players with no resale value. Signing free agents on one-year contracts is almost never going to lead to big transfer fees.

Guff92
They owe Liverpool 20% of future fees. Plus the small matter of them still owing the original transfer fee. If anything they horrible c**ts will lose money out of this. Great.
Scooter
Thought their priority this season was to stop 10? If they're selling then they're not going the right way about it!
