Wrangodog
First time back since lockdown, at Odeon, Killie. Girl from the Odeon greeted us at the entrance and explained the new arrangements. Wore mask in foyer but not required in the cinema itself. Seats are spaced for social distancing and some rows are empty but family/friends can sit together. Biggest change is at the end when the lights come on one of the Odeon employees let's you out one row at a time and collects your rubbish if you have any. Exit isn't the same way as the entrance but out the back door.

Scooter
That's good, me and my meerkat have missed going out to the movies. The Odeon Luxe cinema seats are so comfy, and usually for the same price as a standard ticket.
Fudger
Good news on the cinemas opening. There must be a shortage of films due to the production being stopped or there will possibly films go to cinema that would normally have been straight to DVD.
Wrangodog
Just to add to the information, my son was at Cineworld Renfrew Street last night and he had to wear a facemask inside the cinema while watching the film.

Wrangodog
Tenet looks good but dialogue is naff. My son and daughter both liked it but I'm afraid I missed what the fuss was about.
Scooter
Cineworld confirms all cinemas will close temporarily from this Thursday. Think there's more to it behind the scenes than just Covid, but the delay of James Bond looks like it has put the final nail in the coffin.
Wrangodog
Nearly all the big budget films have been pulled at a time when cinemas should be drawing more people in. The "what's coming" on Imdb gets weaker every day. Tenet was the one to bring people back but since then it's been low budget affairs that aren't going to draw cinema - goers and increased infections have meant the restrictions haven't eased. Surprised Odeon are still open to be honest. GFT might survive since they have a hard core following and show more art house films.
