We should be doing everything we can to get Tshibola and Kabamba on long term deals. But we won't.

Are the club in a position as regards Covid to sign people on long term deals?

This is perhaps their chance to shine and win a new deal, or shine and move on,  and we protect our financial well being st the same time.

In normal times I would agree with you btw.

Perhaps hedging our bets incase the season gets suspended, without a furlough being applied. Paying up a year will cost less than paying up multiple. Or, is that not how redundancies work?

Not sure redundancies work that way in football tho. So hedging our bets is the most likely scenario
