I would say Lee Hodson. Or Grant Murray. Pretty sure @mathematics will give you a ban for this suggestion!
Pride_of_ayrshire
There is hunners of meh players that have came in and out. Westlake, Eccleston, Tyson and virtually everyone Lee Clark signed to name a few.
Tom061087
I’d go for Scott Robinson. Decent player I suppose and he proved that before coming to us and back at a decent level now but at the time just seemed a completely uninspiring signing.

Jeroen Tesselaar - gave it his best every week but always seemed just a tad below expectations. Killie1970
John Sludden. Didn't reach the heights for us but always had the potential. Martin Baker was another one. Edited September 9, 2020 by Killie1970 -

Nobody
Barry Nicholson The New Zealand centre back can't remember his name. Old? Sean Hessey The centre back who was St Mirren captain, came to us was perfectly ok, but nothing more. Possibly went back there. The left sided player from Inverness that Jefferies brought in - again can't remember his name

IMO
Old times Stuart Burgess, when we signed him I thought it was a fantastic signing but just never happened for him. Current Michael Gardyne, again looked like the ideal signing and has shone at other clubs but just nowhere near the mark for us

He's had a good career, with over a hundred league goals at a decent enough level.
