Found this when checking if was any set rules re calling games off .....there is a set rule but then also SPFL can change it if sees fit...which leaves it open to claims of bias if SPFL change it for some clubs but not others

Uefa state games can be played as long as clubs have 13 players. Is this adopted by the SPFL?

Yes, but clubs can apply for games to be postponed if they feel they are being unfairly disadvantaged. These cases would be decided on a case-by-case basis by SPFL after consultation with the Joint Response Group and the Scottish Government

SPFL set the standard by making St Mirren play with no senior keepers available. Accies without three players shouldn’t be an issue. The only annoying thing is these two clubs being punished for what at the moment seems to be innocent acts while Aberdeen and Celtic get away with blatant rule breaks

2 goals in 7 apps. Just always feel he tries far too hard and ends up choosing the wrong options constantly v them.

I hadn’t looked at numbers just thought it was more than that. Scored a good goal through there which upset the locals. Cracking finish at RP last season when we came back to draw the game.

the st. mirren game shouls hav been called off, but now spfl hav set a precedent game has to go ahead, i'm sure hamilton should hav enough of a squad to cover, its going to be good when lower divisions start up with there smaller squads, annans friendly got pulled as they had 4 test positive so what happens in competitive games make them play with say 9 players & no bench.....

He should 100% play but I do also agree with this. Has seemed to lose a bit of composure in some of the games, shooting even more on sight than usual, as if he has a point to prove.

Are lower divisions still allowed to play trialist's in competitive games. Perhaps the PFA will keep a bank of players and put them through the testing process just in case they are required.

UEFA rules only allow competitive game to be cancelled if less than 13 players fit. SPFL following guidance for St Mirren game....

Annan game called off as friendly, and really pointless in scheme of things

We still have to beat whatever is put in front of us though.

Doesn’t change too much in terms of it being a must win game for us. Potentially gives a different type of pressure though. A lot more expectation on our players if they have a vastly depleted squad.

There should be absolutely no chance of a postponement here but......well......it's Scottish football.

Different if Celtic or Rangers had a lucrative friendly to play in the States or some other far off destination at the early stages of the league  then postponing is not an issue.

I'm convinced that if we played the Accies ball boys they would somehow automatically fall into rigid shape, slow the game down and be unbelievably difficult to beat. It seems to be in the water there.

8 accies players will be unavailable for this weekend's game. According to the record.

The record headline is as usual a bit misleading, out of the 8 there is 4 injuries, 3 positive covid and 1 self isolating (Lee Hodson) due to being flatmates with the St Mirren keeper.

Trying to make it sound like the squad has been depleted due to covid.

Everyone at that club horrible wee club will be doing anything possible to get this game pushed back, if the st mirren game went ahead then the spfl need to set the story straight here. Can't pick n choose which games to postpone to suit. The season will never get finished if they push back these kinda fixtures.

They already have pick and chose games to postpone. Celtic and Aberdeen both had fixtures postponed but now the smaller teams are being made to play.

The games should be played but there is no way your telling me if it was us in Accies position that killie fans would not be calling for postponements
