pmonty3
Bound to happen unfortunately. We’ll need to get used to this. As stated before fingers crossed the positive tests are asymptomatic - as normally seems to be the case with footballers - and everyone stays well.

Kanyon
Should test them again and it will probably be negative. Still need to isolate though.

Aye, what’s the script with that? I work in a workplace with over 900 people in it, a guy in my “team” as such had a bad cough last week. Got sent home, went for test, negative... back to work the following day. How come footballers are different?

How come footballers are different? If you test positive at all you need to isolate. The fact you then get a negative one soon after doesn’t seem to matter. Happened to Hibs or Aberdeen players I think but still missed a game.

Kanyon
I’m surprised how little has been made of players testing positive then being tested again and it showing a negative. It’s almost as if the test isn’t very accurate. Surely not!

Popular Post baz
We have sourced someone operating multiple accounts on here posting names of those they think have tested positive, and we know at least one of those names is definitely wrong. That leaves us open to getting shut down with potential legal implications. Please leave the speculation to the social media channels...and if you are going to slander someone or falsely accuse them of something then please be big enough to put your real name to it. We hope that anyone who has tested positive is not badly affected and recovers soon.
