Popular Post Killieboykfc
Looks like Dyer and the boys might not be as hopeless as some folk would have had you believe at the start of the season. We look really comfortable and confident now imo. Some of our passing moves in the last few games have been excellent and players like McKenzie, Pinnock etc have been really effective when coming off the bench. Long may it continue
Gaffer
Looking like a wise appointment with every passing game now. Was always going to take time to repair the damage done.
Ngonge88
I for one hold my hands up. I 100% didnt expect Dyer to turn this around like this. But he has, and has very well. The players have rallied and have got back to the tenacious hard to beat side again.
piffer
Continuing to progress is important. The last few games have been excellent but we need to keep building on it. Can’t slip back to the attitude of we play “insert weaker team here” in a few games. The character of the side is coming through now. The sleeves were rolled up today and we were full of desire to get the results.
BoydsFace
^^ yes completely agree, the character is back. Winning helps to breed character and confidence which in turn leads to more winning. Superb work from AD and the team. We’ve thrown away some daft points in the first few weeks but it’s worth saying that at the start of 18-19 we did that under SSC. It’s largely the same group so hopefully the rest of our season replicates that one.
Fletch
I was hanging off til 11 games to make any judgement. He had a really difficult start, very difficult fixtures, very unlucky v Ross County and St Johnstone. Since then he's done exactly as expected and beat the teams we are better than. He has us well organised and he's balanced out the squad well. He's getting a good level of performance out of players who we would have expected less. Definitely has the potential to be a good manager for us, the signs were there last season. Glad he's now turning it into results. A decent opening round of fixtures with Motherwell (hopefully) still to play.
historyman
Getting better every week but still a long way to go. top six finish would be a fantastic achievement for a rookie manager.
James K Polk
One thing of note today that after has definitely improved on was his subs. All the right calls at the right time, definitely helps when the bench has that strength in depth
ekblue
Well done to AD and all the squad. Playing as a team full of spirit and desire is a real compliment to their willingness to fight fof the cause. I think the addition of Kiltie has added an extra dimension and the form of Tish has been outstanding. Cant fault any of the players today, congrats all round.
Mcd
He has definately turned things around his interviews are great and he certainly has a squad 100% committed to his cause

IMO he was reliant on a small group previous and perhaps reluctant to use others at key moments. You see now guys like Kiltie playing himself into that group. Pinnock and Rossi as well. Which increases his options. Hopefully the other new arrivals build that trust soon to give us more depth. What was also noticeable today was the real quality we had to come off the bench. McKenzie, Brophy and Mulumbu are starters at most other clubs in the league but they are being played out of our team at the moment.

WWWWnnnnnn!
Chuffed he's proven us wrong, want him to do well with us as he's a good guy. Just took him too long to see we can't play a lone striker with only defensive midfielders. -

He really didn't have many other options.

C4mmy31
For all the pressure/high balls Livi had 2nd half, I never really felt we were gonna conceed, it felt very much like last weeks Scotland game.... I guess I'm trying to say AD has learned well from SC.
Garykillie
The start was always tough. St Johnstone game was a sore one. Even before that we were playing good stuff. Keep it going.

I highly doubt anyone hates Dyer. His record was terrible but he's starting to turn it around, great to see because he actually seems like a good guy. Always thought this team was decent but just needed that someone special to make things happen in midfield. Everyone has said kiltie could be the missing player and it turns out he is. Too long we persisted with a 'safe' midfield instead of going out and trying to win it Edited October 17, 2020 by Killie lad
Thebigguy68
Folks panicking early season. Never threatened for relegation in a modest league. But challenge is whether we can challenge for Europe. Unlikely but what we need to be aiming for. Good progress. -

He was rewarded with a goal and could’ve had another aswell.
