theboyjohnston
Kilmarnock striker Nicke Kabamba has committed more fouls this season than any other Premiership player, according to Whoscored.com data. (Scotsman)
Fletch
I'm not surprised. The amount of times he gets fouled and it goes the other way is unreal. It's been annoying me watching him all season. Any 50/50 decision always goes against him for nothing other than being the bigger man.

TBF a lot of them look like 6 of one and half a dozen of the other but you would reasonable expect to get maybe half of them. But, as you say they all seem to go against him. Maybe he could benefit from some coaching form somebody like Boydie who could step on somebody's toes and get a foul.
Wrangodog
I don't think he's a dirty player, just awkward, a bit like Bambi on ice at times. He plays a role where he is fighting for the ball and any decision could go for or against him. As long as referees don't read that stat and let it influence their decisions.

I always thought Boydie had some days where the ref had decided to give him nothing, some days he got all the decisions. Perhaps he did manage to swing it more in his favour with experience.
Popular Post Nobody
The sustained biggest joke was probably Sutton for Celtic who practised all in wrestling for 90 mins every week and frequently came out of the game having "won" penalties, free kicks all day and been penalised precisely zero. The worst ever performance was Cosgrove of Aberdeen in the first half of Steven McLean's notorious "3 killie red cards" match. He must have committed at least 6 offences all of which were bookable, as well as numerous other fouls, and every single one was either ignored or awarded as a foul to Aberdeen. McLean's failure to control that animal that day was even worse that the red cards he did dish out IMO.
killieblues
It claims 33 fouls, but are those including the 11 offsides?
Scouser2
Title is a bit misleading as don’t recall him committing too many bad fouls, seems from watching the games it’s mostly in the officials judgement of how the player jumps or sets himself for long balls played up to him......many of the defenders will be more experienced of how referees officiate games in this league ..often slightly different from other leagues....and know how to get away with things other attackers too will know the tricks and what a ref looks for .....hopefully Kabamba can adapt as time goes on far more what I called dirty players in this league who seems at times to get away with a lot more

But these seemed to be generally earlier in his career.
Steppskillie
I would query figures for Kabamba. Gogic must have committed at least 33 fouls in rhe 1st half of iur recent game v Hibs.
RAG
If Nicke has the most fouls in the league, then Morelos’ work-rate clearly isn’t up to scratch! Edited November 4, 2020 by RAG
Pompey Repatriated
Alan Shearer was the shop time king for backing into people and winning fouls
carpetfitter
Hartson also was an exponent if backing in and winning fouls. Sutton and Fatson in the same team - gawd.
historyman
At the moment Scotland doesn’t have a single good quality referee. It’s almost always a case of looking at the team sheet and saying ‘oh no, not him again’.

Nobody
Madden and dare I say Collum are currently about the least worst IMO, in Madden's case excluding games involving his own team. The others at best come and go, At worst we are talking about the likes of McLean, Spawn of Satan Dallas, Cheatin' Beaton and "Louis" Walsh who are shockingly bad and/or biased depending on what side of the bed they have got out in the morning.

No, as he's offside 11 times a game... so if it was included he would probably have around 200 fouls against him at this stage. -
Pride_of_ayrshire
Its much like Boydy he committed alot of fouls but the amount of fouls not given for them is criminal. Sometimes you just have to play dirty when your isolated up top
