bute-killiefan
Are they worth getting? I'd like to be able to stream stuff from my laptop on my tv without having to hook it up via an hdmi, but really, it's a minor inconvenience. What are the pros and cons? Anyone got one?
Merk
Got one, barely use it. Get a Firestick and sideload Kodi.
Lroy
It can stream from your laptop but it's not really good at it. It is suppose to load content directly from the net. Your app/laptop just tell it what to load. Don't have a smart TV so I use it mostly for YouTube and iPlayer. I've got the first version so I don't know if v2 is any different.
bute-killiefan
I've looked at this firestick and it doesnt look like if I want to buy it in Canada I need to use ebay. They have something here called Roku. Looks to be the same, but I don't really know much about it
undefined
You can't sideload Kodi onto a Roku. Get a Firestick or one of those "Android TV boxes".
RayD
I have one, bought to stream my laptop to TV. Always seems to be a slight lag, maybe my internet speed? (20Mbps) Hardly use it any more.
