GCM
About as strong as we get with the players available, be interesting to see how Whitehall does with two starts (excl cup).
piffer
Surprised at the changes. Thought we’d stick with same again as much as possible. Biggest thing for me is we stick with Kiltie at 10. Hopefully it’s just a change of personnel and not shape.
theboyjohnston
Bench looks a bit light on attacking options - won't matter if the starting 11 do the job!
MuirP
I suspect they will line up like this based on the Motherwell game and result.

Totally agree, his delivery, pace and effort up and down the pitch has been a real positive in recent weeks, not given enough starts IMO

C4mmy31
Same St Mirren team that gifted Rangers their goals midweek... Hope they are feeling as generous today. Edited January 2, 2021 by C4mmy31

Ngonge88
Burke has barely kicked a ball for months. Our only 2 wins in recent times Burke hasn't started. I think its shocking changing the front 4 at all today Edited January 2, 2021 by Ngonge88 -
Guff92
New year same pish being spouted. Pinnock couldn’t lace Burkies boots. -
mitch14
Will doubtless be proved thunderously wrong here, but I've never had any interest in the "don't change a winning team" thing. St Mirren much more physical in the midfield that Motherwell. Also not going to play out from the back in the way we exploited Well. I want a manager that picks a team based on what will hurt the opposition. I think McKenzies dig keeps him rightly in. I also expect we will need more invention to break down Saints, rather than catching on the counter as we did Well a few times. Add to that the fatigue over this period. I like the look of that today. Would be a big three points to get.
casual observer
If your job’s on the line and you need to choose a player who’s more likely to create chances, score a goal, or just work their nuts off for you, I don’t think it’s even a decision. Burke every single time for me.

I don't subscribe to the don't change a winning team mentalty You pick your team to win a game That was the poorest Motherwell team in years St Mirren are on a much better run of form Burke needed a wee rest, but folk saying he hasn't kicked a ball in months are talking pish
