Two in the first half for Burke, both from McKenzie crosses, one where he successfully got in front of their fullback but didn't get enough on it, and once where he got in front of the fullback but fell.

The one where Kiltie cut the ball across just too far in front of Kabamba.

In the second half before Kiltie went off we have the McKenzie shot at the far post from McGowan's cross that he antcipated well and got the shot off on the left foot but it was blocked.

There were other half chances, but you only asked for one, so gave you three.

Hahahaha , if that's what you ca chances there must be about 50 on a good day. Chances are shots on target, saves from keeper , shots off target in front of goal. Their keeper probably needs a good warm bath. Never tested

What I’ll say is it’s easy to blame strikers when you don’t score and aye they’ve some of the blame, a lot of the balls put into the box were pretty aimless and didn’t beat the first Well defender. Definitely better but we’re very one dimensional go wide put in the box and hope someone can do something- and we’re no very good at that either. Mix it up, shoot from the edge of the box, drive in low crosses etc.

Going through the 11.

Goalkeeper - a great save in what little he had to do

Back 4 done fine, positional sense a lot of the time was poor though.

Midfield was okay, Power worst of the 4 probably based on him breaking forward and doing anything but shoot. McKenzie isn't a left mid, but put some smashing balls into the box.

Kiltie was excellent in spells, picking up the number 10 position. We could do with him bursting into the box.

Kabamba is pish. End of story. That header at the end was pathetic

As poor as the strikers are, people are spot on about our midfield offering nothing. It’s been the same for over a year. When do you ever see one of our midfielders making a run into the box like Campbell did tonight or bursting forward and hitting a shot like McCann did for St Johnstone. Power, McKenzie and Tshibola really need to step up and start contributing more goals. It’s not good enough and puts all the burden on our useless strikers.

Absolutely.

Crosses , CROSSES is that passed as chances now. We missed a sitter right before halftime, a header saved ( should've scored )  . Kabamba header was in injury time fgs. Couldve been playing until midnight and created nothing. Then he takes the only player we had off . And leaves probably the best player at club on the bench. Christ , we are in trouble

Yeah, I’m pretty certain the whole point of crosses is to create goal scoring opportunities. A real striker would have loved that tonight. And the timing of Kabamba’s chance doesn’t really matter, it was a great opportunity and if anything indicative of not completely crumbling when we conceded.

Anyway. Opinions and all that.

None of our midfielders will have a shot and that ain't a new problem.  Big difference was tonight we actually got the ball into dangerous areas numerous times and then we were stuck.

Kabamba doesn't risk the run and is a yard back, next time he makes the run and the pass is a yard behind him.

We know we need a striker and no doubt TW knew the same from past reports, but I have no doubt he will get someone in within the next week.

Kabamba offside four times in the second half. It doesn't just kill the move it kills the momentum.  Boyd could get caught offside that often but you knew that the time he wasn't offside he would inevitably score. I can see what TW was trying when he brought on Pinnock and Oakley but Pinnock didn't beat the full back often enough to get decent crosses in.

The problem is we ain’t got one.

They always say that’s the hardest part to sort don’t they? Tommy will get defence organised, team doing the basics more effectively, and hopefully in time the goals will come.

I agree, for now it looks like we’re short of a real player to lead the line. Here’s hoping he finds a way of getting someone to step up.

Much improved tonight. An obvious gameplan and everyone working their baws off.

Still disappointing seeing guys like Doyle and Dikamona at the back, but it is what it is. Keeper had a good save tbf, but still think we will lose soft goals like tonight with those in defence.

Dicker and Power seemed a negative choice in midfield but tonight showed they can combine well to take us up the park, and they did well breaking up play together.

Kiltie was excellent, it's absolutely baffling he was taken off?! And after not producing much quality first half, Burke was excellent in the second. With any sort of quality upfront, we would have scored. We must have slung in 20-30 crosses but all Kabamba seems to be able to do in the box is fall around. Power's whipped ball across the six yard box was begging for contact - Boydie must be sick watching us these days.

Lots of positives, but think he has a big job on his hands getting a tune out of those three donkeys we have as centre forwards.

No worries, if shots off target in front of goal are the ones you want then you have Diak's header from the early free kick, that was off target in front of goal from about 10 yards out, you have Burke getting in front of the defender, off target about 8 yards in front of goal.  McKenzie's shot on target that was blocked around 7 yards from goal.  Three chances by your definitions after asking for one.

How many times did we put the ball into the box for kabamba to stand there and watch it. Guys not the quality we need, doesn't gamble or even try to make himself a pain for opposition defenders. Let down by the attack this game, dont care what anyone says. If we had any other striker in this league today we would of had more than a pathetic attempt of a header at the end.
