McGowan, Haunstrup, Pinnock, Burke and Lafferty today.

Full team were much better and fully deserved the win.

But I thought those 5 were excellent throughout

Think there's a point in that about why Wright is sticking with Dicker and Power. I don't think it's that either have been awful, it's been that they've been exposed most of the season.

Now with support from fullbacks and players scoring the good starts to outweigh the bad with them in terms of tackling, experience etc.

What a difference in the second half.   A different team and they certainly free in confidence after the 2nd goal.

Thought Haunstrup was excellent in the second half.

All 3 goals were well taken and we definitely got more men into their box.

Special shout out for Pinnock for the skill and finish for his goal.

Lafferty has been a great signing so far and hope there is more to come

Will have a few beers tonight to celebrate.

That was good, no hiding behind the sofa today. Lafferty led the line well, both fullbacks played well too. Good goals from Lafferty, McKenzie, Burke, and Pinnock. Pinnock deserves credit for his assist and played well in the second half. Surely that first win will add some confidence to the team. St. Mirren in bottom six now which might change the games after the split. Can't say I was impressed by Kelly in the 'Well goal. Happy Saturday everybody.  ?

Players like Lafferty and Burke with their experience will never come to us and be woeful signings. We need to mix those type of buys with lower league Scottish potential star signings.. I.e the boy Shields who would learn of Lafferty.

No more bargain basements from division  9 in England.

We cant afford to spend big across the squad. We have an overall budget. But there has got to be room to pay a good bit more for 2 or 3 players, particularly in the attacking third. Having a top drawer centre forward should always be a priority.

You need a strong spine to any side  we had that under SC  and haven't had it since.

Solid Keeper,  CH who can organise, CM who can play, tackle.and Organise and a CF who scores goals.

You can build the rest around that.

We now have Doyle who is 3rd choice at a relegated side  Broaderz who is a year too far gone, Dicker who looked 2 years to far, and we have Kabamba who is dung.

IMO when we stay up most of this squad will.be gone and TW will fill the side with solid dependable players who may be unspectacular, but will do the job properly.
