Montrose Match Fred

Would agree with the commentator who said Medley and Broadfoot were probably started to allow them (hopefully) a clean sheet and a bit of confidence after the County game. If anything they'll be feeling less confident after that half as they've done nothing but make unforced errors. Rossi should be on imo.

Reasonable performance but still some glaring weaknesses.

Would never have thought Power would become so much of a liability so soon. Losing 50/50 tackles with some of these boys.

Tshibola needs a shot so we can try to find a combination that works.

Dabo’s obviously not in the picture.

Miles better in the midfield with YM and AP, this has to be the starting two on Wednesday!

I agree. Still think Power is a player, and he looks much better without Dicker alongside him. This is a much more comfortable central midfield which doesn’t look as one-dimensional. Power’s passing looks sharper (although he could do with cutting out the constant Busquets turns as it invariably leads to losing possession), and Mulumbu is still working box to box, which is what he’s good at.

I see some comments about them not shielding the defence enough, but in all seriousness we’ve got absolutely nothing out of two sitting players ‘shielding’ the defence for the month after month.

I’d be more than happy with us sticking with this pairing now.
