Kfcinlancashire
Four clubs now declared as failing UEFA licence criteria, Livingston , Hamilton, Ross County and St. Mirren. How does that happen when teams like Connahs Quay can get a licence or are there different criteria depending on your leagues overall status ?

They live within their means? Quote UEFA understands that its member associations are all run and structured differently, and it is consequently necessary for them to adapt the system to the local environment in which football operates. Therefore, UEFA's 55 member associations are given a certain amount of flexibility in terms of how they implement the licensing system. Despite the flexibility allowed to its member associations, UEFA has a vital role to play in ensuring the consistent and correct application of the system throughout Europe. https://www.uefa.com/insideuefa/protecting-the-game/club-licensing/
dumpweed
I think it costs "extra" money to get the UEFA certification and clubs that aren't expecting to be in Europe see it as a small cost saving. I may be way off with that but I think some clubs don't bother to apply for it.
piffer
Questionable finances? St Mirren seem to do well out of the Kibble deal. Ross County from Uncle Roy. Were there not interesting characters involved at Hamilton and Livi at some point. Small fry and the grand scheme of things but who knows

Small fry and the grand scheme of things but who knows I think St mirren are being done over for reporting the suspected fraud back in December, not giving them the licence is a dangerous precedent as it will encourage non disclosure.
