He ignored all his teammates and threw the ball direct to an opponent which led on to the opening goal. It wasn’t unlucky and intercepted it was pure s**te. That’s not football it’s simple who is wearing the same shirt as me stuff.
Killie1984
Broadfoot is considering his options. There should be only one option he's considering, f*ck of Also offered Millen and Waters deal
Pompey Repatriated
Brindley started as a leftback but guess we don't see that as his future position
Beaker71
From the out of contracr list id take Greg Stewart and Mikey Devlin both of of whom may be afdordable, but unlikely to get either given the league were in.

He threw it to Charlie Adam who about a yard from his own bye line hoofed it hopefully into our half. What happened next was comically tragic. While his throw contributed we had plenty of time to deal with Adam's ball.

I don’t hold him responsible for the loss of the goal but for the squandering of a good attacking position. Looking for an early goal, he first of all wasted a good shooting position by laying the ball off then, with both CBs bizarrely upfield, he threw the ball away. It reminded me of the goal Brentford conceded from their own corner against Bournemouth on Saturday, if anyone saw it. That was even worse, believe it not. But the throw was symptomatic of the sloppiness in the team. Things like that have become routine snd accepted. How many times this season have Broadfoot, Rossi, Medley, Findlay and co trundled forward for set pieces? How often has it resulted in a goal? Has anyone ever said, “This isn’t working - we need to try something different”?

Having players who can cover different positions is a huge bonus.

Thats such a good moment to sum up all the problems in our squad last season. I think the biggest reason Millen makes that mistake is actually that there is no-one showing for ball, no options, something that happened repeatedly all season. Its why, until the playoff games, I always struggled to get behind the 'players don't care' thing. I don't think Millen was lazy there, it's just the umpteenth time he's had nothing to aim at and if that happens again and again you make mistakes. That's partly down to the recruitment in that we don't have players like Mullen for Dundee who are desperate for the ball at feet, or midfielders that want to take the ball and turn. And partly down to being restricted to Power/Dicker and players with no pace on the wing and rubbish attacking fullbacks. That team was absolutely perfectly designed to invite mistakes like that upon itself and then have a defence and keeper that would ensure they led to goals.

I think Sky showed the ground level view but I'm pretty sure there was a couple of options, albeit marked. Even so, better to concede a throw-in or goal-kick than possession as he did. Jedi2
With the players left it looks like a 'new- team at the moment could still consist of (if all sign deals)..'N' for 'new player's ------------------------N--------‐---------------- ---Millen------Broadfoot---N----Haunstrup- --Burke----------Power----N-------Pinnock--- ------------------------Kiltie------------------------ ----------------------Cameton--------------------- So, as things stand, potentially only 3 'new' players in the starting XI Obviously a long way to go on who will resign or not (Broadfoot, Burke, and Kiltie in particular), but the 'core' might yet up being pretty similar.

Jedi2
Really hope that there is news on 2 goalkeepers very soon.Have to build from there. Then start to get a couple of CHs in, then a couple of midfielders and then probably 3 forwards. Have to build the defence first though.

Cass316
Chris Burke in St Mirren transfer option as Kilmarnock face fight to keep veteran star The 37-year-old is considering his options after Tommy Wright's side were relegated from the Premiership. St Mirren are weighing up a move to keep Chris Burke in the Premiership. The Buddies are keen on the veteran winger, who is set to come out of contract at Kilmarnock. Killie boss Tommy Wright has held talks with the 37-year-old and has indicated he wants to offer to keep him at Rugby Park. Burke will then consider his options but the lure of a return to the top-flight could prove key. Jim Goodwin believes the winger, who has been one of Killie’s top performers, would be a valuable addition to his squad. Livingston are also interested in the former Rangers and Scotland player Burke. Wright released a number of players but has indicated he wants to offer deals to Kyle Lafferty, Ross Millen, Mitch Pinnock, Greg Kiltie, Calum Watters, Tomas Brindley and Kyle Connell. Kirk Broadfoot is also considering his future. The experienced defender also has Premiership interest but Kilmarnock are also keen for him to remain.
kfc_superteam
Will be interesting to see if burke moves on. I'd like to see him stay and he has made all the noises that he loves the club. A bit disappointed if he takes the money and leaves for St mirren or Livi

If he goes to them then I’d have no respect for him at all. Guy loves to spout about how much he loves us and wants to end his career with us in the media so will be interesting to see if he sticks to his word or if it was just the usual football pish chat to appease fans. I’d guess it would be the latter.

It’s a career at the end of the day, if TW has offered him reduced terms and a reduced role (rightly so IMO) yet he is being offered significantly more at St Mirren or Livi then he would be insane to turn that down. If he leaves then he has my best wishes as he has been a proper pro in his time here and has given more than I was expecting from him.

I’m usually on the pragmatic side in this debate, but he has gone on record at every opportunity about how much he has come to love the club and if he is being offered a reasonable deal I would have expected him to stay.
