The other 10k plus that wanted to go will be in bars and houses watching....but outdoors is safer kids! ?

This is a very serious and valid point.
speaking from our group RE Ayr game as an example, we all want to be there but good chance we won’t (even with season tickets) so will all meet indoors to watch on tv. Mental logic.

Ballots for a portion of this season too, can see some serious discussions taking place in the days and weeks to come .

Can't imagine we'll exceed 4000 season tickets, and the rules will likely be loosened by September at the latest. So for the Ayr game 2000 get selected and then the other 2000 get the seats for the Inverness game. Fairest way to do it and for the cup games it would be similar - first 2000 get selected for the Morton game and if you can't go then yours gets transferred to the Stranraer game or vice versa.

After CQN - the club would be daft to be anything other than transparent.

Aberdeen up the ante......

Aberdeen have submitted an application to the local authority for 8,200 supporters to attend their opening home games of the season.

The city is in Scottish Government level one, meaning 1,000 fans are permitted. That figure would double if Scotland moves to level 0 on 19 July.

However, clubs may apply for increased attendances.

Aberdeen have "worked tirelessly" on their application to covers matches up to and including 1 August.

Stephen Glass' side begin their Europa Conference League campaign with the visit of BK Hacken on 22 July.

Their next home match, and first of the Scottish Premiership season, takes place against Dundee United nine days later.

Meanwhile, Celtic have been given permission for 2,000 fans to attend their pre-season friendly against Preston North End on Saturday 17 July.

Don't know if this is the right thread (so many in a similar vein) but two newspapers quoting that football fans in England will have to prove that they are fully vaccinated by October if they want to attend. This would apply to any sporting event with an attendance of over 20,000.
