Popular Post Ngonge88
What a team performance! Not a failure out there! Last season Lafferty picked us out holes, or was the main man. A few players stood out tonight, none more so than Burke. But everywhere, we were brilliant. Naismith backing Burke up, middle 3 were absolutely solid. If the ball was lost, a teammate won it back. And a special mention to Hemming! Absolutely cruised that! Play like that every week, we will walk the league.

Fletch
The goalie, Euan Murray, Burke and Cameron all very impressive. Burke obviously is miles ahead in this league but having a goalie that can catch and a striker that can hold the ball up it makes an incredible difference.

I thought McGinn made that role look so easy
Steele88
That team tonight would beat our team from last season. No doubt about it. Solid core at the back and an improved midfield. Early doors in the season but positive vibes already. They’ll only get better as the play more games together too!
ross1987
The more this team plays together the better they’ll get. It’s early days, but looking good so far.
gjkillie007
Very impressed with hemming. If we had him last year that game probably wouldn't have taken place
jesper
Big keeper was totally in control, commanded his box brilliantly and looked totally assured. What a difference!

We would absolutely hammer that team last year. More, because those players fight for each other. -
Popular Post LeonPanikvar
Picking out Alston cause I think that’s the first time a killie centre mid has made runs in to the box for f**k knows how long

Looked a bit leggy towards the end but his runs were brilliant.

maxyboy
Midfielders getting into the box stood out for me as well, after spending the whole of last season shouting at Alan power on my tele it’s a welcome sight players trying to make something happen

One minor point is that one winger always send to be quieter in the match, bit 3 that's maybe more the nature of the game. Popular Post The Cumbrian
My last post was just after the Dundee debacle when in the midst of my depression said " Am no coming back " Just watched a game where out keeper thinks the ball is his mate. A defence who seem to know the object of the exercise is to defend and not to pass the ball to the opposition. A midfield who play like they actually know each other and a young striker who looks like he might actually be the real deal and know where the goal is. Then there was Burke. What a game he had. All I need now is for a certain lady to state that crowds can go back to matches, and I get the car serviced and the 350 round trips will start again. My 54 year love affair with this little club seems like its going to continue
Ktid1869
I thought it was a great performance all round, great to see Cameron do really well up front he was unlucky more than once. Also thought Haunstrup has done well recently.
Scouser2
Early days but lot of promising signs , especially as it’s a brand new squad , some players new to this league and others on way back from injuries either last season or during preseason …….. Lot is talked about us scoring more goals, but we also need to be solid at the back , having a decent goalkeeper or 2 is a big plus after what we had to endure in recent seasons Add in another striker and Robinson back to full fitness and we will have genuine competition for places all over the park. Now it’s time to build momentum
aldo71
Get a good striker for this level , I'd be confident this season
Fudger
Really glad Burke resigned on that display, absolutely different class out there tonight.
piffer
Team performance is exactly what it was. We looked like a group again not a bunch of individuals who weren’t sure they actually wanted to be there. Everyone knew their role and actively burst a gut to cover if someone got caught out. No blame anywhere you win together you lose together.
killie billies pal
A big up to the manager too, apart from Clarke we have not had a boss who knows how to get a job done with the minimum of fuss. Onwards to Dumfries, I get an awful feeling the Queens end of the ground may have some neutrals wanting to see us.
