Bobby Street Roll
That’s sad. Fond memories of him as a very committed player.

He was also my tour guide the last stadium tour I took.

Maybe I should have added……it would have been nice of the club to publicly thank him for his service to the club. but hey, behind the scenes we rarely do the right thing Edited August 22, 2021 by Berts Killie
Dillinger
I did mean what did he do at the club, but also didn't know of him as a player. Before my time. Thanks for the info. Why that question got a down vote from one of the forum's resident wanks is anyone's guess.
Tight End #79
Good solid left back, occasionally prone to a wild side. His sending off at Falkirk remains a favourite having run almost the length of the pitch only to see the keeper get to the ball first to prevent him get an attemprt at goal, I'm sure he just volleyed the ball (keeper and all ) towards goal. Harsh sending off, I'm sure we won 0-1

CraigM
I think he was involved in the hospitality side, not sure if he had a day-to-day role as well.

Still works for the ambulance service I think. All round good guy played in the same team as my brother in law.
Al#1
If true, just another example of the owners not having a clue on the value of the history of our club. An appreciation of thanks should not be too much to ask. Jim was one of my early heroes and a vey popular hospitality host.
a1killiefan
Known Coby for years, (both worked for NHS Ayrshire & Arran), but not spoken to him in a while. Always had great stories to tell. Club seem to be gradually getting rid of those who worked in a voluntary capacity, guys who had a history with the club and the fans. A strange decision. ?
Alan R
This decision is surely connected to what’s been said on the ‘Hospitality’ thread? It’s cut right down time-wise.

KillieDJ
Never actually heard of him, although if he was at the club in a volunteer/ambassador role to host hospitality then getting rid of him seems odd. Are we not in a position where the club should be asking for volunteers and not turning them away?
Nobody
He was a stand-out in terms of effort, commitment, dig and consistency at a time when we were generally really, truly awful. He has obviously decided the 'tache is not in style anymore!
chubbs
Was a legend back in the early 80s .... seemed like he was winning MoM votes every week on the KSA bus when I was a kid.
