Falkirk Match Fred

Great start where it looked like we were going to take them apart. After they scored we went to pieces for a while. We picked up it a bit in the last part of the half.

Shaw looked useful. Remember him being fairly mobile but had always thought he was shorter.

Naismith has had a good game. And there have been wee flashes from F Murray and Armstrong of what they can do.

Falkirk have surprised me with some good quick pass and movement. Had heard good things about Sheerin as a coach. Nesbitt has also looked good. He’s been dictating play at times.

A lot of these boys look like they’ve had very limited game time.

Started really well. Three chances including the goal in the first few minutes. We were stretching them all over the park at that point.

Equaliser was an error from Sanders. He’s stepped out doesn’t seem to look and passes straight to their player. The worrying thing again is how far an opponent is allowed to run unchallenged before getting a shot away.

Took is a while to get back on top but think we finished the half strongly. Making a few good chances and openings.

On a side note. Can we implement a £20 fine everytime any player passes back to the keeper when there are better passes forward

We seem to be really rocked when we lose a goal, and not in a good way, took us about 10-15 minutes to calm doon again.

Gap between midfield and Shaw needs to be narrowed, and a bit more energy widny go amiss, decent finish to the half and Shaw a bit unlucky no to score. Now... we need to come out flying in the 2nd half, something that's been noticeably absent in almost every game this season.

Mon the Killie!!

still not sure we have found correct balance in our midfield this season ....Polworth givrn that free role needs to get on the ball a lot more and show for a pass too

Polworth is playing to far forward for me. We are looking to go through him but there’s not enough in front of him to let him pick the passes. Still think the long term plan has to be Robinson there behind Shaw and Polworth closer to McGinn. Alston is playing the usual role he plays. I’m not sure what Lyons is doing. He’s playing the furthest back of the three but offering next to no protection or easy pass for the back four you’d expect him to provide in that area.
