C4mmy31
On the way back from Ayr races tonight, West FM news were reporting there are a number of counter demos planned for Glasgow as well as the "over 50" orange marches on Saturday. Stay safe everyone heading through the city centre on their way to and from Firhill as there will no doubt be the potential for trouble. No entry to the stand, so they put us on the uncovered terracing on the far side. A cutting North Sea wind had fans congregating in the underground toilet to get out of the cold. Meadowbank could have a cold wind. I cannot imagine how bad it was stuck out in no man's land for the cat show. I was not there but I recall. I think what made it so Cauld at Firhill was the lack of thrills and it was unexpectedly cauld. I been wrapped up for extremely cold weather but it was the wind cutting through that terrace. Was not enough of us and too many spaces. The things we put ourselves through. Is this Methil game a 2-0 defeat? I may have had some common sense and not went to the one you all talking about.

Bullitt
Do we expect there to be disruption going to the game if travelling by car? I’d largely avoid the city centre when travelling but unsure what I’m driving into…

Big March is lunchtime but they are all marching back in their wee daft bands to different places. There's one leaving GG at 1.45pm and finishing at Partick.

We should be ok, it takes just over an hour according to Google maps, but presumably that's based on an average human walking pace and not that of a 24 stone monstrosity in an ill fitting suit.

Killiepies
Be warned the pubs will be full of followers of the LOL.The last time I was up there and there was a march on the pubs were full of them.People with 6 fingers and ugly women you could tell them a mile away. BTW they hate Killie and everyone who isn’t staunch is viewed with suspicion
KillieDJ
There are also major roadworks on the M8 going through the city centre and the on-ramp going North from Charing Cross is shut so all traffic is being diverted via St. George's Cross to Cowcaddens - might want to factor that in when coming off and heading West towards Firhill
piffer
What’s the closest underground station to Firhill. Was considering parking at Shields Rd and doing it that way if the city centre is going to be a nightmare
