Popular Post heynow2005
People going on as if Arbroath are a pub team...ridiculous. they r giving us the battle most folk expected. I wonder when the penny will drop for some that we are at the level we are and have no right to expect to walk over these teams especially away from home
Bobby Street Roll
Nothing really sticking for our front line, probably due to the wind. Hopefully a different story second half.

Even last season players opt to head it when they have ample time to bring it down.

heynow2005
We are fighting well. Bit disappointed in the ammount of long balls but hoping we will maybe play a bit more football in 2nd half if maybe Arbroath start to tire but they look like they could go all night. Impressed with Alston again, wouldn't mind maybe seeing Polworth to try and open them up but he might be bypassed

Nobody
Zero composure from us. Boot it down the park. Rory Robinson Shaw and Naismith getting bullied relentlessly. Our throw ins a f**king joke. Big man for them all over us.
gdevoy
Do we have nobody who can hold the ball?
Mogwai
We're lucky not to be behind at HT, just some desperate defending keeping us in it. Some decent attacking play from us, but Arbroath's energy and cohesion make us look like the part timers. That said, we'll destroy them in the second half.

Scouser2
Real positive to go in not behind and keeping another clean sheet so far. Still feel we have not found right balance in central midfield as yet , badly need someone to control game from that area Our best play comes when we try to keep possession and pass the ball around , hopefull will see lot more if that in second 45

Ngonge88
I'd take Fraser Murray off. Move Robbo left and bring on Polworth or mcginn. Bit of strength in the middle
Lorielus
If the long-ball stuff is a reaction rather than an instruction from Wright then I would switch Lyons for McGinn given McGinn seems to like putting his foot on the ball and slowly things down. Once again, Murray looks fine on the ball, but seems to struggle to get on it very often. Impossible to really watch his movement because of the camera angle though.

Harrogate Peter
Both centre backs jittery and yet each have saved a certain goal. Lyons showing lots if energy but a bit of a headless chicken. The worry is we made little attempt to play much constructive football. Positives are we didn't concede and both fullbacks doing well. Our front two are different class at this level. If we create something decent we'll win.
mitch14
Feels like the long ball is deliberate to try and stop us getting bogged down in the middle with fouls and their press, but we're winning f**k all in the air. Balance of that needs to shift a bit because we've been dangerous with the ball on the deck. Glad we've got stronger defensive players to keep us going in games like this. Thought Arbroath looked like they were tiring in the last ten minutes already there.
