KillieFC
Guys the system was tested on all platforms and passed with flying colours. As with most technology...sometimes the input can be a bit iffy! We've had reports about people clicking the renewal field and then not knowing their share cert (membership) number which could cause it to halt. We are looking at it again on Thursday and will see if we can possibly make that field so that it is not 'essential' and we can add in said number ourselves later. Failing that we will get a printout of the existing database so we can tell anyone who asks what the number associated with their membership is.

robkil
I just tried joining, but unable to as it asks for a UK postcode, and apparently our Australian bank account numbers have too many digits. Anyone able to fix the sign up form?

Fletch
I signed up using Edge browser. I had issues, it booted me out at the last stage. That being said, I did receive an email saying it has been successful. I assume it had gone through then gave me the error. Worth checking you haven't signed up multiple times.

KillieFC
34 have joined since Saturday. The main browsers have been tested and all the reports indicate they should be okay unless you are using a very old version. The Australian bank account problem would appear to be an issue with the Go Cardless system and and not directly with the Trust, we are contacting them about that. Sorry I forgot about the post code issue, I have noted that for attention. If anyone needs to know if their membership 'worked' or not then just drop me a line and I'll check it out. The reconciliation between the old database (1400 shareholders) and the new one will commence this week, we will be keeping the old one but only adding members to the new database as they sign up again, they will retain their original share number on our register but have a new ID number on the system. We will be going through the old database and identifying current members who are still signed up by standing order (or cash) and contacting them personally to help with changing over to the new database. Following that we will be approaching those who have lapsed and may not be aware of it due to the deficiencies in the old system which have now been rectified.

Good idea! My problem would be that if I gave someone that as a Secret Santa, they might narrow down the donor pretty quickly down here in Lahndahn tahn....

That's a reasonable response, i'd warrant that there are hundreds of fans who have either let their membership lapse (deliberately or accidentally) or have thought about it and just not made the jump. Perfect time to get folk joining.
