Really lovely guy and talked at length with pleasure on both Killie and Newcastle (even if you couldn't understand his accent at times). DuncanEwart
I started going to away games on the Travel Club bus leaving from the Jolly Farmer in the mid-eighties. There was a right few characters that made an impression on me as a young boy, none more so than Geordie Norman. He was a bit of a runner at one time, if I remember right. Sorry to hear this.

killie billies pal
One of my favourite moments with Norman was him playing a game of football behind the goal with local kids in Galway, even when the rain came on and we all headed into the pub he stayed out with those youngsters, oh and the game was going on at the same time. RIP Mate, 2017 is fast becoming a bad one.

a1killiefan
Another character gone. Stayed across from him when his flat in North Hamilton Street went on fire. He loved wearing his Killie strip one week and Newcastle the next. Hadn't seen him for a good few years. The accent and speed he spoke were a challenge! RIP Norman

That's the guy I am thinking of, sure his name was Norman, I remember him at Muirton Park one day wanting to lead a storming of the stand to get at the old board, but my mind may be playing tricks.
