AndyKTID Posted March 1, 2025 Report Posted March 1, 2025 Don’t mind the changes at all, Armstrong did nothing to merit keeping his place, Magennis looks leggy of late and I don’t blame him in fairness and possibly the same goes for Wales. Very strong options off the bench. 1 Quote
Wrangodog Posted March 1, 2025 Report Posted March 1, 2025 Brings in Watson and Anderson, Wales on the bench.🤔 0 Quote
Pride_of_ayrshire Posted March 1, 2025 Report Posted March 1, 2025 Wales dropped who’d have thought. Only bright side is it’s for Anderson and not Cameron otherwise it’s hoofball extreme -11 Quote
Scouser2 Posted March 1, 2025 Report Posted March 1, 2025 Yet another different midfield set up...one has to work sometimes surely Chance for Anderson at least 0 Quote
Travis Posted March 1, 2025 Report Posted March 1, 2025 (edited) Don’t mind it, on paper at least. Freshens things up, and happy to get Polworth back into the team. Was harsh to drop him and did us few favours. Edited March 1, 2025 by Travis 3 Quote
PrestersKtid Posted March 1, 2025 Report Posted March 1, 2025 I just hate that you look at the lineup every week and it’s never obvious what the formation is. with every Clarke selection you knew it was 4-3-3 and we had players who played 1 position. If O’Donnell was playing you knew it was right back. this could be 4-4-2 it could be 3-4–3, 3-5-2, 5-3-2. Lyons could be central or out wide, Ndaba wide or in midfield. Mayo wide or central. 1 Quote
Pompey Repatriated Posted March 1, 2025 Report Posted March 1, 2025 I expect it will be 352 with Ndaba midfield, Lyons and Murray wingbacks 0 Quote
Kanyon Posted March 1, 2025 Report Posted March 1, 2025 I’d hope it’s 4-4-2 with lyons playing right mid. 0 Quote

Said it before and I’ll say it again, despite it being a pretty dull point… I don’t think we have ‘a formation’. Players are expected to be in different places in different phases of play. 2 Quote

Pompey Repatriated Posted March 1, 2025 Report Posted March 1, 2025 Wales not immune from criticism, but he is our most natural scorer. And while Vassell is out Marley is basically un-droppable. Despite glaring misses against Rangers 1 Quote
billdescot Posted March 1, 2025 Report Posted March 1, 2025 Apparently Anderson and Wales can't play together but Marley is very lucky not to be dropped as has offered little lately 0 Quote
Kanyon Posted March 1, 2025 Report Posted March 1, 2025 Anderson deserves a start I have no issue with wales dropping out for him. We’re going to launch it regardless of how people on here feel so Watkins is always going to start. Personally I’d have played Cameron instead of Watkins as Watkins looks tired . 1 Quote
